I've always heard that distilled water is not biologically active based on how distillation apparently changes the molecular arrangement. I've also heard that it causes leaching of minerals from the body if you drink it straight. If it's true that the leaching effect is due to the changing of the molecular structure, then I can see how it would be helpful for people in cases of detoxification. But long term I would be concerned about that effect. If molecular restructuring is happening when water is distilled, then wouldn't nature's answer would be to freeze distilled water to help return the water to a biologically active state?
