Your reluctance to do extended dry fasts is a good safety mechanism. Need to be skeptical.

But look at some of the dry fasting the animal kingdom does.

Sheldon's book has some great examples.

Penguins sit for roughly 60 days on their egg with no food or water.

How often does a cocoon eat or drink as the creature inside is transforming?

What about an animal in hibernation?

All DRY
