Re: Itching, bumps...something biting me?
Howdy jboy!
I think I can help you figger this out (and get a bit of relief :)
Couple weeks ago I was laying at the river, next day or two I noticed some bites/bumps on my thighs/legs that itched. I attributed it to some bug at the river. I could be wrong, but I've never heard of any bug that bites where the bite/bump waits one or two days to show up. This sounds a lot more like a poison oak/ivy or some other type of irritating 'plant toxin' to me.
2 weeks later now, i'm getting the bumps/itching bad, it's at the bottom of my butt cheeks, the side of my thighs, back of my thighs. lil clusters of bumps that itch. There ya go, 'bug bites' don't "spread like that (certainly not 2 weeks later)...and both poison ivy/oak have "clusters" of bumps (that seriously itch bad!). Chiggers can cause bumps, but they appear fairly quickly after being bitten and they resolve within a few days (and don't spread).
mainly seems to be on my upper thigh area and lower buttocks.
What is this?
Well, since it sounds very much like poison ivy/oak (or something similar), the remedy is likely growing all around you...Plantain (not the banana-like fruit, but the common weed). Here's a google search on: plantain + 'poison ivy' OR 'poison oak'. You'll see a LOT of different ways it can be used (both internally and externally) - and it's extremely effective: http://www.google.com/search?q=plantain+%22poison+ivy%22+OR+%22poison+oak%22&...
What weed are you looking for? Here's what it looks like (it's everywhere!): http://www.google.com/search?q=plantain+OR+plantago&hl=en&lr=&saf...
Just gather up a big bunch of leaves, throw 'em into the blender with a bit of water and plaster it on (easiest). Add some bentonite or IF#2 (or slippery elm) to make a good, gooey plaster and stick it everywhere it itches (the IF#2 alone has been known to pull out the poison of poison ivy/oak and other plant-stings and bug bites - so has straight bentonite). You could add a cup or two of the pulverized mush to a cool bath and get great relief...and drinking the tea is very beneficial, too.
Here's a great 'synopsis' of the benefits: http://www.altnature.com/gallery/plantain.htm
Also not doing great, i tried adding the IF2 in today, an I had a baaaaad attack of anxiety/out of body experience/no memory. I thought i was dying. I had drank a lot of water when taking it, an i took it for like 1-2 days before this. 'Not a great idea to go "on & off" with the IF#2 - it will adsorb some small percentage of the Valium in your bloodstream. Either use it for your next 'dose cut' and then stick with it consistently, or set it aside until you're ready to be consistent.
I alleviate this by drinking veggie juice and eating sunflower seeds that are salted.
My brain is still in constant fog, i'm feeling hopeless. All i eat is brown rice with cayenne/turmeric/sea salt/virgin coconut oil. and over a quart a day of veggie juice(1 green apple, celery, carrots, cucumber) plus 4 tbspn superfood. Is there anything any of us can do to help you choose to eat more food and get more nutrients into you? I've made suggestions of veggie/mineral broth, bee pollen (more on bee pollen below), Hippocrates soup, etc...but all I keep seeing is seasoned brown rice, a quart of juice & bee pollen. Dude, you NEED more nutrition! What is holding you back from eating more?
I'm not getting better, nothing is coming out of me. My face seems to be breaking out? this hasn't happened since I started my diet over a year ago. When you are withdrawing off benzodiazepines, you're not supposed to "get better", as your body is dealing with the harshest withdrawal of any known chemical (you wouldn't expect anyone to 'get better' or 'feel better' or have any of their bodily functions be normal when they were in the middle of heroin withdrawal, right? Of course right. So don't beat yourself up...and expect new & different symptoms to arise as you continue through the withdrawal process).
The two best things you can be doing are:
1) make sure your body is getting enough nutrition/fuel to sustain itself. There's just no doubt that if your body is not getting enough fuel to run, you're going to develop new problems.
2) support your adrenals in every way possible, as benzo-withdrawal is a constant hammer to your adrenal glands. I'm sure you recall how I 'nagged' at ray34iyf to support his adrenals while dealing with the die-off issue, and how things worsened and got really bad when he didn't. Your situation requires you give your adrenals even MORE support than what ray was dealing with (and to my knowledge, you're not giving them any at all...?). One of THE biggest reasons that people suffer from PWS (Protracted Withdrawal Syndrome) with benzos is they don't know to support their adrenals while going through the withdrawal...and I know that you don't want to be dealing with symptoms for months/years after your last dose! At the very MINIMUM you should be:
--having bee pollen daily (for the natural B5 that is integral for adrenal function...and also to get more additional nutrition in you!) 4T daily or more - work up to that amount. The best source (and price!) for quality dried pollen I've found is Dansk Farms here: http://www.danskfarms.com/servlet/the-3054/100-pct--Pure-USA-Natural/Detail
If you don't understand how absolutely incredible bee pollen is for nutrition, puhLEEZ be sure to read through these: Bee Pollen - The Perfect Food and The Benefits of Bee Pollen - New Life Chiropractic
from the 2nd link: By stimulating the secretion of hormones from the adrenal cortex, bee pollen assists in regulating (1) salt and water metabolism,... Bee pollen allows significantly increased amounts of oxygen to reach the brain and the cells in general, thereby resulting in improved overall health and mental capabilities.
--some form of natural vitamin C daily (several teaspoons minimum) of Acerola cherry/berry powder or Amla berry powder (the Acerola powder is best from Pacific Botanicals - the Amla is higher in C and is available here for $15.95 a pound SuperOrganicFoods : Organic Amla Powder (don't pay any attention to their BS about it not having Vitamin C, they are dead wrong and their information is based on a study that has been totally debunked)
--Ashwagandha, Ashwagandha, Ashwagandha...1 Tablespoon, 3x daily (or 6 droppersful of tincture 3x daily)
--There is simply no way I'd ever attempt benzo-withdrawal without daily Kava root (either in a tea or tincture) to support the process. It's been shown to be as effective as certain benzos for relieving anxiety (but without the myriad of side-effects), and it's extremely beneficial for helping to relieve many of the adverse effects of withdrawal for many people.
--Daily EFT & Barefooting...there's always time for both, and both are extremely beneficial in many ways (we can tap when in the bathroom, before going to sleep, when waking up and anytime throughout the day). You can even 'tap without tapping' (just imagine that you're tapping), when we're someplace we don't want to actually tap. Use EFT for whatever issue you're feeling and experiencing whenever you feel or experience it...and be sure to get your barefeet on the earth at least 30 minutes daily (please, please, pretty please! :)
As far as your face breaking out, the plantain tea would be very beneficial there, as well.
I'm thinking of getting tested for lyme again. using a better test. ??? What makes you think you have lyme?
I know how tough this is (and I know that you've moved, and are working again...which are big stressers, too -- but also very good things). I'm SURE that you are a strong enough man (and intelligent & gifted, too) to deal with all this. But you really need to 'support the process' and do what it takes to lesson the symptoms if you're going to get through it the easiest & best way possible. So get as much ordered as you can possibly afford, and the next time you post I wanna hear about how you've increased your nutritional intake...okay? okay!
Healthiest of blessings (and tons of love) -
