Re: Only sski????
Just wanted to post Stephanie Buist's experience. As some of you know, she is a thyroid cancer survivor and has been working closely with Dr. Brownstein the last several years as a patient and with his
Iodine research (she helped edit his last book). Anyway, she was pretty toxic with bromide and has been heavily working with iodoral to iodinate herself and she had been taking it with her supplements (including vitamin C) and morning oj for about a year and when she did the
Iodine loading test she was shocked to find out that she was only about 65% iodinated. She concluded it must be the oj and began taking her iodoral AWAY from any vitamin C. This has been a while -- maybe a year or more. I don't know if she's had another loading test since then, I'll pop over to her yahoo group and ask. But the general consensus over on her group is that you need BOTH
Iodine and iodide. I know Stephanie's case is a little more severe than most of us here and her transporters were really damaged. I think the more health issues you're dealing with, then your symporters aren't working right and it would be good to get iodine and
Iodide so your body won't have to TRY to do the conversion.
