Were tumors induced in the rats? The ratio on 1.03 is also 1.03 omega-3 / 1 omega-6 in the research. This is also an experiment with rats, not humans. Where did the supplements come from as well (source, type, any processing)?

Omega-3s are exceptionally sensitive to peroxidation in supplementary forms. Eating more omega-3 rich foods seems most optimal and/or avoidance of high omega-6 foods that are not in a natural form.
