Yes the half truth about the body alone regulating pH is just that a half truth ! The truth is, as strange as it may seem to you is the body does adjust the blood ph through robbing the bones and other parts of the body including teeth! This creates all kinds of disease like dental carries and osteoporosis! This is just common sense!
Try reading my posts on how the body regualtes its pH. I clearly state that buffering by bone minerals can happen, but this is a LAST RESORT method for the body to buffer acids. And since acidosis is so rare this rarely plays a role.
Secondly, the claim about dental caries is also misleading. This is not one of the body's methods for adjusting its blood pH. The acids that lead to dental caries ARE NOT generated in the body, but rather by bacteria in the mouth or from dietary acids such as unuffered lemon juice. But the body's primary method of dealing with these acids is through the production of saliva, which helps to neutralize and wash away these acids. Again try learning something about how the body really works before posting!!!
