a good point... that emphasizes individual constitution as well.

We are all different... some being able to deal with acidity better than others... others able to deal with and benefit from the alkalinity better.

That said... I have known people who have flipped from one to the other... such as a BIL who hit 40 and put on 60 pounds in a few months with no changes in diet or activity levels.

Others who were *flipped* through the use of pharmaceuticals or through the use of a particular supplement to excess... like mega doses of vitamin C.

This is analogous to a fairly closed body of water that absorbs *pollutants* whether acidic or alkaline, for a long time and suddenly flips overnight, and no longer supports life... until a careful, tedious correction is made.

Unfortunately the correction* can take years and years... decades in some cases... man learned many very bad lessons back in the 1970's and 80's in bodies of water such as these with his over corrections...

I posted on this, perhaps within the first year I was on these boards.
