Re: Colon Cleansing Diet
Hello Solmare,
Here is an excerpt from the [FAQ]
Colon Cleanse post:
//www.curezone.org/forums/fm.asp?i=1614444#i
--eliminate meat & dairy from your diet (meat has ZERO fiber, and slows down digestion incredibly; all dairy is mucous forming -think glue-)
--eat a diet that is at LEAST 75% fibrous raw & whole foods (grains in the their WHOLE form, not flour products), fruits, veggies, nuts, seeds, sprouts - and the oils thereof.
--Ensure that you are NOT dehydrated - at the very MINIMUM we need "1/2 our body weight in
ounces of PURE water daily" - so if one weighs 150, they need 75oz of water daily. A gallon is better :)
--EXCERCISE - MOVE - ensure you colon isn't "squished up" in a chair 12 hours a day. No body can repair itself if it's deprived of natural flow and totally squished out of shape.
--Eliminate poisons from your food - it is theorized that the colon produces a thin layer of mucous everytime a toxin/poison is ingested (to capture the toxin so it doesn't assimilate). The more poisons you ingest, the more mucous you get.

When I am doing a
Colon Cleanse I do
juicing and eat raw fruits and vegetables as well. I also like kefir and cultured veggies, sprouts, nuts/seeds, Superfood, BSM, apple cider vinegar, raw honey. I low heat beans (I don't often est grains). I try to do 75% raw when colon cleansing... and 100% vegan.
I don't know the official answer concerning how much work it is for the body to breakdown and digest raw friuts and vegetables versus cooked. I feel the better we chew and breakdown our food while in the mouth, the easier and better it is digested.
Well, there are my
Colon Cleanse diet thoughts. I hope others will respond and share their thoughts/experiences.
