I'm not saying the USA has no gold holdings, so this statement makes no point. If the deposed ruler of a little country like Tunisia can take off with 1.5 tons of gold, it would be silly to think the USA has zero gold holdings. And why does a little country like Tunisia have 1.5 TONS of gold in the first place? Hmmmmm....

No, you missed my point because I have never once put precious metals ahead of owning land, water purification equipment, knowledge, food, and protecting yourself. I own land, which can be taken away from me by the state/countries I hold title in. I also have precious metals which I can walk away with into another state or country and buy land all over again. You cannot carry 75 acres on your back through customs.

Anyone investing in a painting instead of precious metals is either extremely wealthy, or an ignorant buffoon. When a fire destroys that painting, I will pick up my lump of gold from that same smoking ruin and have it melted down into bars or coins all over again. I have lost nothing. A gold St. Gaudens coin is History. All numismatic coins are History.

Silver is valuable because it has physical properties that no other metal has, making it valuable for not only storing wealth, but industrial purposes as well. No antique or painting can say this, period. There is less silver above ground than gold. Thus, it has been purposely undervalued for a long, long, time. Making it easy for anyone to get some. When a little country like Tunisia has 1.5 tons of gold, its not because of any religion. Its because gold has value in any country in the world, no exceptions.

Animals do not have critical thinking abilities. They do not understand that the natural order of mans development has been subverted. Therefore they do not understand that there is a game afoot, and those who play the game best live the longest. They operate on instinct, man too has instincts, but his instincts have been purposely desensitized in order to get him to drop his guard. I can show you a video documentary where primates viciously kill and eat one of their own in the wild, so I'm not going to be using an ape as a complete role model anytime soon.
