1) You can buy a HELL of a lot of land in a depression with a few gold coins.

2) Gold and silver coins from the 1800's ARE antiques.

You could say the exact same thing for any antique. Just make sure your antique never rots or breaks. However, what do you think a lot of antiques are made out of? Gold and Silver.

The game is NEVER over. Gold and silver have been storehouses of wealth for thousands of years. There has never been a time when their value has become worthless. Paper becomes worthless the moment the majority realize there is NOTHING backing it.

It all started thousands of years ago when one country whose currency was Silver wanted to trade with another country whose currency was Gold. The BANKERS were nice enough to be a middleman for these countries, taking one countries precious metal and converting it, for a small fee (!!!) to the other countries precious metal of choice.

Thus, the BANKERS have been getting rich making money out of nothing for as long as you care to go back.

If you cannot understand that game, then you have NO BUSINESS being in the stock market. Its when you learn to play the game that you can take steps to protect yourself, and profit from playing their game against them (which is what you do when you buy land).


If you choose to buy land instead of precious metals, you are still playing the game. You are attempting to spend your PAPER money and buy something that you can see, hold, and work with. This is why I own land as well. Its real, tangible, and they are not making any more of it.


LAND is the ultimate antique, because its the oldest thing on the earth! And what comes out of that land? Gold and Silver.


There are no guarantees for any act we embark upon in this life. All we can do is hedge against the forces that seek to strip away all we have from the time we are born. Silver and gold didn't find me, I found them. Buying land and precious metals are just two options out of many.
