Re: Is this a good way to kill candida?
Yeah fruit doesnt work for me either, believe me I've tried many times, for varying durations. It's a no-go. Horrendous bloating, rectal itch, rash, gas, cramping. All the usual candida stuff. I actually havent had fruit in about 2 years and I feel I'm making excellent progress lately.
Once I've worked on heavy metals for awhile, and my probiotic dosage is up where I want it (>100 billion cells / day) with no bad effects, I'm sure I'll try fruit again on rare occasion.
I've lost 60 lbs in the past couple years, my energy is up, my chronic cough is gone, I no longer get any intestinal discomfort at all as long as I follow my (very strict) diet. Honestly, if it turns out I have to eat this way for the rest of my life I don't really care anymore.
As for the original poster's diet, I was never able to make much progress when I was still eating things like rice, potatoes or corn. But each case is different. In severe cases like mine I just dont think recovery was possible while including those high-carb foods.
