February is for fasting~!
I am beginning a modified
Water Fast on February 1st, which I plan to follow for the entire month of February.
The reason I call it modified is because it is a rather odd plan. my current situation necessitates me having two meals a week in the company of others and it is not an obligation that I can bow out of, or not eat.
They are a dinner on thursday night and breakfast on Sunday morning. Dinner is out at a restaurant.
For me, it will be french Onion soup, salad or brocolli and fish.
Breakfast varies.
For the rest of the time I will be water fasting.
My goal and motivation for the fast are weight loss, detox, and spiritual clarity.
Let me also say I realize that many of you may disagree with the way I am going to conduct this fast, but let me counter with this: It is my body and I choose the month of February to be a great experiment with this modified fast. Nothing more, nothing less.
I plan to coontinue my yoga practice and gym activities and will modify thiose as well, depending on how I feel.
Hoping to have an adventure, lose some weight and gain some self-knowledge along the way.
