Re: Thyroid and penis
I love it!!!
Thanks for asking this and shelve your embarassment dude, these are our bodies!!!! Penises deserve to be talked about a lot more than they are. Said by a recovering Catholic here....Ha!!!!
I actually have been wondering about this too.
But my thinking has been from a testosterone view on things. Since
Iodine is necessary for all hormone receptor sites, all the hormones can be out of whack not just the thyroid hormones.
And of course there are other factors. From Sally Fallon, author of Nourishing Tradtions (one of my favorite books) and founder of the Weston Price Foundation I learned that baby boys who are breast feed have a monstrous testosterone surge that helps set up normal male development. Us boys who didn't have moms breast--very sad--don't get to have this surge. Don't know if that correlates to penis size, but possibly.
I have noticed in the past few months I am waking up with erections sometimes. I remember hearing other guys talk about having these but I not sure If i ever have, maybe but if I did it was long time ago and certainly haven't had them for many years....and I am 46. I am excited, because it seems to me that must be hormone related. I am one year into
Iodine therapy btw.
So I will admit that I have a similar fantasy, that either the
Iodine or clearing mercury will kick in the necessary stuff/hormones to change my .....well, a little bigger would be nice but I am not attached so much to size...but an improvement in overall libido and duration and intensity would all be awesome.
so, that is my two cents....
