Slightly O/T
Hi Gina,
First I want to say Thank you for all the great research you have done regarding Boron. I just picked some up today at the HFS... But my real reason for posting is, I notice you frequently link to Earthclinicdotcom, and I just want to warn you and invite you to investigate the trustworthiness of that site. In particular, Ted from Bangkok. IMO he makes many statements that are baseless and/or quackery. Just today Wombat re-posted a link of yours that led here:
http://www.earthclinic.com/Remedies/borax_questions.html
It contains statements like this:
"For instance, some people with acid reflux requires B complex B50 three times a day, initially, but once they start increasing weight, B50 is only taken at once a week."
So the cure for acid reflux is a B complex??.. until I start gaining weight??
And how about this statement:
"[T]he worse ones are the oils and fish oils or sesame oil, they require much longer off periods such as once every three days to once every week. This means I take omega fish oil for only once a week. This means there is a 6 days off period."
Fish oil once a week, followed by a 6 day off period??
"To prevent boron from accumulating excessively,"
Any evidence that boron accumulates excessively? This one I genuinely don't know.
I'll admit, I'm a bit biased. The first handful of internet posts of Ted's that I read rubbed me the wrong way (like telling people to drink baking soda--a great way to give yourself fungal candida) and it was all downhill from there. After I did a little research.

I don't want to dismiss the entire site, I'm sure it has some good info. Haven't read all of it. Just wanted to give you a heads-up.
