Re: Question about DMSA protocol

In terms of Andrew Levin, I get what you are saying but a lot of mercury toxic people have brain fog and trouble getting through material like that. I can't help but think that if he were REALLY wanting to help people, the site would be written in a more coherent, easy to follow manner.

I'm really not that bad-I have chronic, low grade conditions/afflictions, but am totally functional and I got annoyed at reading through that info so I can't even imagine how someone who was really sick would feel about it.

I too would like to hear from more people on here who have followed the Cutler protocol and were either helped or harmed.

I'll look at cutting out the NAC- can that be harmful?

For the past couple of days I've been doing DMSA only, 100 mg every 3-4 hours, (no ALA), have felt good and stopped yesterday afternoon- felt fine. When I did that when I was taking both ALA and DMSA, I felt really bad a few hours after stopping.

Whoever posted in this thread (don't have time to look back) that suggested I keep with DMSA for a couple of days after stopping ALA has a really good point. I think it's the ALA that makes me feel terrible and I'm assuming that is because it is mobilizing mercury from the brain? I don't know. It concerns me somewhat and I don't know if I should just do DMSA for awhile or if I need to do both?
