While I am NO EXPERT I would like to add my 2 cents.
Take it S-L-O-W.
Do not do too many things at once because then it will be hard to figure out what is working and what is not working.
Also from experience WATCH the licorice root tea. I do not know if your ND mentioned that licorice root will lower your potassium (I give it to my husband who has high potassium due to kidney problems) and it will SOMETIMES raise blood pressure in some individuals, but not everyone. So be on the alert.
Low potassium symptoms include:
