TO AVOID: -
- Chilli
- French beans
- Aubergine
- Watercress
- Bananas
- Yoghurt
- Canned foods
- Red flesh & Fish of red flesh
- Frozen fish & flesh
- Crabs, Octopus, Prawns, Shrimps & Squids
- Monosodium glutamate
- Margarine
- Soft drinks
- Alcohol
- Fast foods & Snacks
- Hair dye (made from chemicals)
TO EAT: -
- Raw Garlic: - ½ to 1 clove 2 to 3 times daily.
- Fresh Fish: - 2 to 3 times/week.
- Olive oil: - 1 teaspoon daily.
- Drum stick: - 2 to 3 times/week.
{Drum stick/pods (scientific name-moringa oleifera or pterygosperma) made into soup are prescribed in sub-acute cases of enlarged liver & spleen, articular pain, tetanus, debility of nerves, paralysis, pustules, etc. and as a preventive against intestinal worms. (Ref. Indian Materia medica Vol. I, Page 815). Drum stick/pods are known in Mauritius as “Batons Mouroum”.}
