Re: High Blood Pressure Won't Come Down!
There are a number of reasons for high blood pressure and it can be tricky sometimes figuring out why it is high.
Since there is not a lot of time to figure it out here are a few tips:
Coleus forskohlii will take the blood pressure down pretty quick. Combining it with some watercress or nettle will help prolong the effects. If you cannot find the coleus look for lily of the valley or cactus grandiflorus (night blooming cereus), which also drop the blood pressure quickly.
Taking some glycine before being tested will help calm him so he is not anxious before having the reading.
Do not rush there and have it taken. Again sit around and have him stay RELAXED for at least 15 minutes before the reading.
No coffee or other stimulants before that day.
And if he eats before going in make sure it is a low glycemic meal since a spike in insulin will also raise blood pressure.
