Re: High Blood Pressure Won't Come Down!

Hello Mamacatpatch: tough ask by Friday.

Your husbands high BP figure may be a one off. He may not have a BP issue, which would be revealed by a record of readings.

Try this:

Veg juice diet ONLY with tumeric. Possibly a little cinnamon, cayenne pepper even smaller amount and ginger again not too much.

NO sugar, salt, alcohol, grain carbs or fruit. No protein or fat over this time.

Do as much exercise as possible to run down probable elevated sugars. Use a combination of HIIT and sustained exercise. (If he has a SAD then taking Calcium ascorbate and magnesium ascorbate seperately may be beneficial.)

Use/buy a BP meter and record these:

Record BP figure/time/diet/activity across the whole day. Every half hour or so. Sometimes there is a daily pattern. Particularly get the first waking moment BP figure.

Celery juice-lots and or beetroot juice again lots. Measure BP before and after drinking these juices. Measure each twenty minutes or so, record BP changes.

Do an intensive exercise regime (HIIT) again measure BP before and after. Again track BP figures.

If you have a dip in BP figures note when and probable why. A pattern may emerge.

Shedule appointment to suit. Possibly will be best about four in the afternoon after HIIT session with Celery and beetroot juice just before appointment. Take BP record to
appointment along with the BP meter. Do multiple readings during the appointment using both Doc's and your BP meters.

In suggesting the above I assume that your husband does not have an underlying heart/medical condition. If that is the case the exercise component could need to be modified.

One big issue here. This is written with this caveat:
Only use this advice if your husband commits to beating his underlying BP issue if he indeed he has elevated BP. High BP points to other issues which need addressing. Failure to do so in his case could endanger the lives of others. So use this advice if you wish but please respect my caveat.

All the best and let us know the results. T2
