Its not a matter of banning words like "YOU" or whatever other word. Many times "you" is used in friendly context. However to avoid direct accusations helps to avoid a personal attack simply by re-arranging a sentence:

Sample of a direct accusation:
"You are evil because you suport abortion murder"

Verses an indirect general attack which is fair:
Abortion is murder and all who support it are supporting evil"

Of course words like calling someone directly a "scumbag" for posting their views would have to be taken in context of the complete message.
