Re: Jamie's new food revolution

I think my generation [boomer] or perhaps the one after mine was the last generation to eat real food growing up in the home. My mom cooked us dinner every night, although in the 60s the processed 'convenient' crap was beginning to show up in homes. My hubby grew up on a farm and ate their own fresh or home canned produce from their own garden, drank fresh raw milk from the their cows and ate their cows as needed, eggs from their own chickens and at the chickens too! Real food, read butter, real untampered meat, fresh pure produce.

Nowadays kids are raised on crap from day 1. And it shows! Even young people, teens, young adults are getting horrible deadly diseases now. What a shame! SO TRAGIC! Can this be reversed? I doubt it. Money trumps health, and time trumps health too. No one has time for real food prep and the food companies, drug companies, medical folks don't care if you eat their crap, get and stay sick, as long as they're making $$$$$$.

Ok, off the soapbox for now ....
