Hi ya,

Here's a video I found on dandelion harvesting. This guy has a whole series on different wild foods, so it's worth it to watch a few and get acquainted with what you may have growing in your area:)

He goes into the yard and digs them out and explains more about them, even makes a tea with that yellow bulb we've been talking about! Pretty cool:)

I guess I would check with your health food store to be sure they had mung beans, or even order them ahead of time, if you gotta drive 40 min to get to one! I guess you live quite away from the city huh? I can imagine it has its drawbacks and benefits...I'm totally in the city, though I do have to travel anyway to get to a good store, but maybe half an hour or so by subway, which isn't bad. I would love to live in the country tho! I'd definitely feel better, freer and more at one with nature.

The sauerkraut would be a great idea...I was panicked to screw it up, but again, it's too easy I'd really have to try;)

T.
