Anne...Re: Vitamin D deficiency ..& visit to chiro
Hi girl:)
I just wanted to chime in and say I understand. I love you, as we all do, and I believe in you. I also believe that you CAN, and you WILL be well:)
I am propelled to tell you this. Over the next couple of days- take some time out. Perhaps stay away from the comp as much as you can. Do everything that you can with the intention of TAKING CARE OF YOU, YOUR SPIRIT, YOUR BODY AND YOUR MIND.
Please, do that ok? Lots of water, lots of herbal tea, hot baths, castor oil packs, time alone to meditate, mild exercise, sleep, rest, laugh- heck, watch a few funny movies! Do a couple of CE's if it helps you- make beautiful fresh meals for yourself and enjoy the flavors of the food. Sqeeze some fresh citrus juice, or simple veggie blend, and really savor it. Go outside and breathe deeply the night or morning air. Take half an hour and sit with your feet in the grass. Watch the stars. Just BE. Do these basics, these Self Care basics. Just give yourself a few days, or a week, whatever time you need to get centered. Do everything with the intent, of feeling good.
I want you to look into your heart and your soul. I want you to ask YOURSELF what it is YOU NEED. Only You can decide what it is that is best for you to do and what course of action you will take to heal the illness. I know all of this is scary, the reactions, the idea of fasting, the money issues, the idea of losing your home- all of this is valid. These things are added stressors and are not helping you in any way to achieve a state of calm and of being able to really focus on what you need to do. You need a break.
I want to say this to everybody on this forum (edit: and I don't want to name names, but especially to someone who posted above- you have my respect as a fellow poster, but I think your reply to Anne was harsh):
MCS is a debilitating condition. Anyone who does not know what it is, or stands in judgement of Anne and her posts and pleas for help/answers, I ask you kindly to do some research. EI's are not 'the norm'. I am one of them. We are not easy to treat, and our symptoms vary from minute to minute and can change based on a multitude of chemical, environmental, physical, emotional, hormonal- you name it- issues. I personally take offense to anyone, well intentioned or not, who claims to know how to handle ALL the variables that come along with it- it is just too complex. I am not saying it is hopeless, far from it. But anybody with a soul and a bit of knowledge can see that Anne is deathly scared of making herself worse and it can happen as a result of ANYTHING and EVERYTHING ingested, exposed to, detoxed, etc.
The nervous system is a very sensitive thing. We all know this. Anne goes back and forth because her body is screaming at her a million times a minute- and so is her brain. So, she is reaching out to all possible avenues for a small bit of RELIEF. I don't think this should be condemned. She is human, as we all are. She needs our love and support.
Anne, please take care of yourself first. Even if it means letting your family take care of themselves for a few days. Go on strike! Don't clean up or make dinner, just take time out for yourself, come to your own center, and then come back and re-read what you have been given, and all the information you have and see what resonates with YOU.
I love you,
Teresa.
