Re: Nutrient dense foods! Re: Anne...Re: Vitamin D deficiency ..& visit to chiro

Hey T

I will have to check and see if my local herb store carries the mung bean seeds for sure .. but I really doubt it cause I havent seen anything like that over there

other nearest one is about 40 min away :( and I will have wait till I go shopping for all my goodies to go to that one

I read the nutrition info on em and they have good sources of many different vitamins ..thanks for posting that

yeah I had better not be picking weeds outta my lawn just yet huh?? but are those long stems with the furry balls on em called dandelion greens?? we always called em dandelions I do know that ?? not too sure bout the neighbors either LOL.

I used to pick that sour grass when I was a youngster and eat that and it was good ! it kinda looked like clover ..have you tried that yet?? I always wondered what it was good for and I always called it lemongrass because of how it tasted

I do have basil and cilantro growing in an oblong pot in my windowsill and that basil is just huge!! I wish I had a food dehydrator so I could dry my own ..thought about drying it in the oven but I have bad memories of trying to do that a few years back .. LOL.. think it was oregano and it smelled up my house so much it hurt my nose !!! and I love oregano ! oh my ..needless to say I had a bunch of cooked oregano ! LOLOLOL.

I had a mini-citrus tree that I had managed to keep alive all winter in my house then I put it out in the heat and it died! I was so frustrated at myself for not watering it more ..it was a lemon, lime, and tangerine tree all in one too ! I so wanted that to do good ..I really have not got a good green thumb when it comes to trees or I neglect em too much or something I just dunno .. my two dwarf apples trees were supposed to bear this year and the were just too puny to put out ... I fertilized em and mulched em too ! I am gonna try to take even better care of them this year and see what happens .

I know I am gonna try my luck at sauerkraut though and see how that goes

thanks T ! good info
hugs back at ya
