Re: Great forum
Dear Spudlydoo I'm seeing more Gang Gangs this year than for some time: delighted I am.
I just want to back up Cisco's comments. Well done spudly. It is a delight to follow your threads.
Wood for winter life yep deeply enjoy it all. I love looking at my piles of winter warmth before the cold begins. Thinking dried foods to produce and those evenings by a warm fire.
I am an inveterate drier, fermenter and storer of many different foods. I was amused to realise that recent shopping trips include little food purchasing. And none of the "regular" food items. Being able to store the food gluts the garden and bush give has been a wonderful development. Currently I am drying nettles, sow thistle, chickweed and making Gurduk with all the remaining winter greens. I am using a bran ferment for the initial process then layering the leaves and sliced root crops in a container with a little bran ferment, lemon juice and a touch of salt. Packing stones on top to compress and leaving it in a cold place. Makes a fine quick soup any time.
So delighted by it all. Spudlydoo I am following up your Compressed air car contacts/ideas. I am to see the "Engineair" motors next time I'm in Melborne.
Thanks T2
