For udoknowjac (and everyone, of course) Long! +Edit

I'm not quite finished with this yet, but almost (I will be done in a couple of hours).  When I'm finished I'll edit/delete this an re-insert the completed version. [Edit - I had a couple of phone calls I had to take, which triggered a couple I had to make, and now  I'm not going to be able to be back at the computer until tomorrow afternoon :(  Finishing is "first on my list" for tomorrow.  Please accept my apology...again :( ]

I am updating this because I saw a post that listed questions for those seeking help. Thanks for taking the time to update your post - the more information, the better!

Unyquity I can only imagine how many people come and ask for help and how incredibly busy you must be. All I can say is that I would be extremely grateful for any advice or direction you can send me in.Yes indeedy, I can honestly say since I've opened the forum & Apothecary/Storefront, this is the busiest I've been in all 51 years of my life...but it's the best kind of busy in the world!

I, like many have had health issues for years. Recently they have come to a point of being debilitating and I feel unable to do much most days. I have been on this forum for weeks and only seem to get more confused and overwhelmed. I certainly understand why you'd be confused & overwhelmed on CZ (and by trying to orchestrate a healing plan by yourself - that's tough for anybody!). Things have changed drastically & dramatically since I first started posting. Back in the good-ole-days, most of the information I'm going to share would have been easy to find, and the true baselines of cleansing and restoring the body were agreed upon by the large majority of posters. Sure, we may have (respectfully) disagreed on the 'persnickety details' or 'brand names' of the various cleanses & products...but the basics of health & healing were the standard bill of fare. Now-a-days there's so many different theories & opinions it can be VERY confusing. :::sigh::: Still, CZ is one of THE best places for learning and finding support on the 'net...and it's my goal & calling to see that this forum is a 'haven of healing' for anybody that's 'sick & tired of being sick & tired' and ready to learn & take responsibility for their own health & body successfully.   We'll all do our best to help you be UNconfused/overwhelmed and build a solid foundation for your healing pathways.

I was lead to your products by Blueciel and have gotten some great info from her as well. Great!  I am looking to get your input if I can so I can order from you and begin hopefully on a path to healing.  The 'healing path' is the most important part - you can get almost all the products from Dr. Schulze's site or Health Freedom Resources (more expensive though), or make your own.

Here is what might be your longest letter ever on health, I apologize in advance. I am giving you a lot of information on my health over the years, medications I have taken etc. because I am not sure what might help you and I want to make sure you have everything. I am thankful that there are people such as you who have spent time studying and helping others such as myself toward healing. I just want you to know how much I appreciate your help. I believe there's no such thing as 'too much information'...either from you (or to you). So I'll be giving you a LOT of information. I always try to make a few basic things very clear, so let's get those out of the way.

--This is not "my" protocol or methodology. All the information I'll be offering is based on the works of Dr. Christopher, Dr. Schulze and Dr. Gerson (mainly). After nearly 10 years of research and self-healing, I found these three healers (and their mentors, as well as other similar healers) to be the most effective (and the most logical and understandable!).   When a full/total program is done, it's called the Incurables Program (shortened to IP), which is what Dr. Schulze/Christopher called it...because these three healers successfully healed all manner of "incurable" diseases (MD, cancer, MS, ALS, the worst of the worst). And if it worked for those that Dr. Schulze called 'the walking dead' (because they'd been told there was absolutely no hope for a cure and they'd be dead in weeks or months, but they were still walking)...then it will work for anyone.

--I realize that people can't possibly absorb a 'decades worth' of research, learning (and most importantly, UNlearning) in a few weeks. Still, it's never my desire that anyone does anything to (or puts anything in) their precious body based on my 'say so' or experiences.  We all need to learn to be our OWN doctor!  So I will be providing a LOT of information/links below (but I have only a small idea of what you already know, so I may saying/sharing things you already know) - please don't think I'm being condescending. But please DO try to prioritize (by reading, watching, learning or UNlearning) the information the links that are preceded with asterisks. And be sure to ask whatever questions you may have :)

--If you're not familiar with Dr. Schulze, well...the truth is, sometimes he's appears to be a cross between a used car salesman, an angry drill sergeant and a preacher at a revival (and it's likely his mannerism/s have offended us all at one time or another). The one thing we know for sure is that he's blunt & passionate :) When we're up against medical systems, 'science' and an extremely, toxic-poisoned, unnatural environment & society, many of us can use a good shot of passion (without the typical "political correctness"), and he certainly delivers there.   Many times people think this forum/protocol is just about "Schulze", but it's not...it's just that he's written, recorded and published more than any of the other natural healers, so when we share information we share more of "Schulze". It's the message that's important - not the messenger :)

--When I make suggestions & recommendations for someone, I always include everything I can possibly think of that will be beneficial and enhance/speed someone's healing. Sometimes this ends up being more than just a bit overwhelming, and I recognize that completely. But I think the worst thing I could possibly do is not include everything I know would be beneficial (and what you need to know or learn to confirm it), only to have you hit a snag somewhere and then tell you, "well, I knew that you need this/that, or should have been doing that/this, but I didn't want to overwhelm you with it at the beginning" :(  It's my job to do my best to share everything I think that would be beneficial - it's your job to examine the info, decide what to do (or not do) with it, and how to prioritize it all. On this forum most of us have 'been there done that' ourselves, so we'll do our best to help in whatever way we can

There's a HUGE difference between allopathic/alternative medicine and true natural healing (and it really can be overwhelming 'in the beginning'). In natural healing we must learn (and UNlearn...always that unlearning :::sigh:::) what is truly natural to the body, and how unnatural drugs, foods & supplements truly do conflict with our bodies natural schematics and ability to heal themselves (along with how unnatural and toxic our physical/emotional/spiritual world actually is). And many times that means the information I offer may seem very negative (or like there's way too many things to give-up or to do). But the truth is, identifying and avoiding the negatives is the fastest way to get to the positives (and the PTB Powers That Be have not made it easy to find and utilize the truth).

Progess IS a process, and every little step in the right direction is a strong & good step. If you can eliminate the toxic & unnatural things in your life quickly & completely to help ensure your healing efforts will pay off quickly, that would be fantastic...but don't become discouraged if you need to take it a 'few at a time'.   Knowledge IS power...and none of us want to do or not-do things when we don't understand why we need to do them (or give them up). Just do your best to read & learn (and unlearn) - and that will be the best and strongest motivator & healer you can find!

And speaking of the Powers That Be (and unlearning), one of THE first things we all have to learn in order to be successful as our own doctors, is to understand how in the world we ever got into this mess (our MDs & NDs having all the technology & science in the world, yet never truly healing anyone of anything). Drugs, toxic/synthetic/unnatural supplements, surgeries and chemo/radiation...they all do nothing but 'bandaid symptoms' and end up making us worse. Even they now call it "disease management" :( This post contains a very brief synopsis of how it happened (and a LOT of other beneficial information: http://curezone.com/forums/fm.asp?i=1372970#i Honestly, if you'd take the time to read through it now, you'll likely find it much easier to make sense of the rest of this post :)

Onward to the the healing goodies...

At the foundational baseline of any true healing is this simple truth: "Stop doing & eating what makes your body sick and start eating & doing what makes it healthy". The thing is, most of us have no idea how toxic this world now is, and how many things we eat & do that are truly devastating to our health. That's mostly because the various poisons are very 'low dose' and we don't sense the negative effects...but after 20-30 years, the cumulative effect (and wear & tear on our body) is devastating. We have to learn 'what to stop doing & eating' (and why) - so this first part will be (mostly) identifying & addressing what to stop.

Age, Sex, Height/Weight (height/weight proportionate? under/overweight?)

I am single, 42 years old, I weigh about 120 pounds and I am 5”1. I think I am overweight by about 10 pounds You know your body best, but don't stress or harm yourself trying to reach a weight that's actually underweight for you. On my wedding day (1st) back in 1978 (18 years old) I was 5' 0" and weighed 118. My waist was a mere 21"...but their "charts" said I should have weighed 15-20 pounds less. :::eyeroll:::

Exercise daily? weekly? never? (how much, what type?)

Right now since my surgeries and then fractured knee incident I am not exercising at all. I want to get back into but just never seem to feel well enough. But I know it is very important. I used to exercise a lot but since June 2009 I have gotten very lazy and then recently I just do not feel well. It may come as a surprise (or not), but the best thing we can do for increasing energy (even at our most compromised) is to increase circulation. You'll be seeing the word "flow" a LOT on this forum! One of the easiest ways to increase blood/oxygen flow (especially since your knees are likely needing some healing & TLC) is to stand in place and move your arms like jumping jacks. It's amazing how fast you can increase your heart rate and get that blood flowing. (Those without knee/leg issues can add "high marching in place" with 'jumping jack arms). I recommend you start doing that (with or without 'leg action') in 5 minute sessions, just 3x a day. Even that much will benefit your energy, healing ability and clarity of mind.

Water: --how much water do you drink daily? (what kind of water? tap; filtered -what kind of filter?-; reverse osmosis (RO); distilled; spring/mineral; other)

I always drink lots of water; you will rarely see me without it. I use a Brita Filter. I also frequently urinate, I am not sure if that is from all the water or not. Sometimes I “go” and then 5 minutes later I can go again. This happens a lot.
How much water is "lots"? "Lots" is GREAT! The very minimum you need for adequate hydration is "1/2 your body weight in ounces", meaning divide your body weight in half (that's 60), so 60 ounces in the absolute minimum amount of pure water you should ingest daily. Dr. Christopher said every adult should have at least a gallon of water a day (I agree).   But the water needs to be free of poisons, and sadly a Brita Filter doesn't do much but take out the smell of the chlorine :(

Your water should be distilled or reverse osmosis filtered (R/O, RO). The debates about various types of water are deep (and some are deeply ridiculous - with ample "evidence" on both sides of the debate). Some say that RO/distilled water is dangerous because of the lack of minerals and it's "emptiness". What we know for sure (2 things) - first, all three of the healers upon which we base our protocol (and many others) used ONLY distilled water (Dr. Schulze allowed RO water). They were dealing with people that were riddled with cancer & severely compromised (most in life-threatening condition). If distilled/RO water was as harmful as many say, these people couldn't have possibly been restored & healed. Secondly, there truly is NO clean, pure, naturally-energized source of water left on the planet - we must all do our best...and complete removing poisons (to me) is the baseline.

If you feel uncomfortable drinking plain distilled or RO water, please feel free to 'remineralize & re-energize it' by adding a tablespoon or two of something like organic brown rice (or even a handful of fresh/clean grass). Please do not add "hard minerals" (like salt or other rocks), as humans are designed to get their minerals from plants - it's plants that uptake, assimilate and process rocks transforming them into a form that is both beneficial & harmless to the human body.

And while we're on the topic of rock-minerals/supplements that truly can cause harm in the body, these are both 'must reads' regarding the quality of various supplements on the market:
And why we don't want to use 'standardized or isolated' herbal tinctures: Isolated/Standardized Extracts of plants & herbs

The most important thing is to NOT add to the massive burden of poisons in our body that makes us sicker & weaker and prevents our body from healing itself. And fluoride is one of the most volatile poisons known to man (it can only be removed from water by RO filtration or distillation). Fluoride & chlorine also destroy the beneficial microorganisms throughout our body & digestive tract (which is something we all need to address, but is particularly important since you're had major problems).

Other beverages (daily, occasionally):

The only thing I drink daily is water. Fantastic! Occasionally when I am very tired and need to do something I will drink black tea. Perhaps one to two cups a week. I understand doing  that completely (I've had major on/off battles with caffeine for decades) but when we're healing ourselves, the first rule (always) is to "stop doing what makes us sick, and start doing what makes us healthy"...and black/green teas both contain HIGH amounts of fluoride:
Fluoride Green/Black Tea and anything with caffeine actually results in a lack of energy in the end. When you get the time :::grin::: you'll understand more fully why even a few cups a weeks is harmful by scanning through these: Caffeine Effects & Dangers -   &   +Caffeine Withdrawal - Re: Quickie: anything else I should order?
Sometimes I drink red caffeine free tea. Very rarely I drink Diet Soda. I used to drink GT’s Kombucha until it went off the market. I really like it. Kombucha is great (it's super-easy to make it yourself, and you don't have to use "tea" to make it :)  Of course, diet soda is another no-no, because aspartame is a major chemical poison :( ASPARTAME - THE SILENT KILLER

I sure hope you don't think I'm "criticizing", it's just that we definitely have to eliminates all of the "don'ts" before we get to the "do's"...and it's extremely common to assume we're eating/drinking healthily & naturally, when really we're not (and it's one of the major reasons so many people fail when trying to heal their bodies). It's essential that we eliminate anything & everything we possibly can that compromises our body in any way if we're going to expect it to have the energy and ability to heal & restore itself. The last thing on earth we want is to spend major time, effort and money on healing protocols & products just to have it all wasted because our body has to spend it's energy fighting & detoxifying from poisons we're putting in it. We need all of that energy to go towards repairs & restoration!

Diet (in any given week) - please be as specific as possible:

For the most part my diet has usually been pretty healthy. Mainly I have just tried to keep a healthy balance. I do not eat processed foods (except the occasional pretzels or other snacks but it is rare), I rarely except on holidays and events eat white sugar, no white flour either. I have used Stevia for a few years. I try to eat organic when I can afford it. Since I lost my job I have not been able to do as much organic because of cost but I have tried to keep the chicken organic and some other things. Before my surgery in June I was starting a raw diet. I had done it for about 5 months and was almost 100% raw. I was just starting to get into Super Foods such as Spirulina, Maca and Gogi powder. I was drinking a lot of green smoothies and juicing. I have a Breville juice fountain and also a pretty good blender which I was able to make the smoothies in. I had planned to get a Vitamix but plans changed when I ended up in the hospital. With the surgeries and everything that has gone on I did not go back to raw but have tried to eat healthy. I have not been eating as many salads it is weird but I seem to have lost a taste for them. Since November I have been eating mainly gluten free and about two weeks ago went 100% gluten free. Mainly I would eat chicken, brown rice, GF bread, GF pasta, GF oatmeal, GF cereal, frozen veggies, eggs, sweet potatoes, acorn squash, lots of fruit (mainly apples, grapes, berries in smoothies, and peaches), black beans, lentils, fruit smoothies etc. Last week I started a Candida Diet. I am not sure about this and what is right but I cut out all of the GF bread, GF cereal, GF oatmeal, brown rice, all fruit except today I did but some green apples and have gone lighter on the beans. Some of what I ate this past week is zucchini, yellow squash, eggs (with spinach, onions, peppers and garlic), cucumbers, avocado, chicken, ground turkey, green beans, a little red grapes, one apple, etc.

--what percentage of the above is organic?
Not a very high percent right now because I am unemployed. Mainly my meats are always organic and eggs

--oils & fats (what kind? how much?)

I use Extra Virgin Olive Oil. I am interested in finding out about Coconut Oil to eat and use. I stay pretty much away from saturated fat foods

--meat (what kind? how much?)

Chicken, occasionally ground turkey, deli turkey/chicken. Usually have some type of animal protein one time day

--dairy (what kind? how much?)

I am dairy free except for the occasional half and half in my teas. I use almond/hemp/rice milk

--how many/what kind of fruits/veggies daily? (raw, steamed, cooked?)

Before the Candida Diet I would eat an apple or two a day, grapes every day usually and sometimes fruit smoothies. Usually frozen veggies (no sugar or anything added just veggies). Now on diet I am eating zucchini, and yellow squash (microwave) , frozen green beans, spinach, onions, peppers, cucumbers, green apples, berries

--white sugar? white flour? white salt?
None, I use stevia and celtic sea salt

-processed foods?
None right now on Candida Diet but previously I used to eat the occasional gluten free pretzels or snacks. I have not eaten a lot of processed foods in years

-gmo frankenfoods (non-organic: soy/derivatives, corn/derivatives, canola/cottonseed oil, beet sugar)

Not sure about this - Much to the dismay of our bodies (and planet), all the "foods" listed above (except sweet corn) are GM...which stands for Genetically Modified. These "foods" are extremely dangerous and unhealthy. In the US, one must choose certified organic or "non gmo" to ensure not ingesting these insidious substances. This video is long (for whenever you have time to watch it):

Okay, take a deep breath and get ready for what may be the biggest bomb of this whole post - the optimal diet for healing our bodies is raw (or low-cooked/steam) vegan...with as much juicing and juice-fasting as possible. And there really are seriously good reasons for this. I'll do my best to explain 'years worth' of learning as concisely as possible - you'll find lots of good tips, information and links in this post/FAQ/thread: [FAQ] Healing Cleanse: The Food Program... working file thread (edited)

***Be sure to read this as soon as possible: JUICE-FASTING: The POWERFUL healing therapy!

It takes a vast amount of energy daily to "completely process" food from the time we put it in our mouth until it exits our body (up to 65% of our entire body's energy resources daily!). This energy could be used to heal us, but it's spent processing & assimilating the nutrients from food. Meat & dairy (and grains in their unnatural form) are THE most energy-zapping things we can eat (and they yield very little nutrition for the amount of work/energy it takes to assimilate them). We all know this is true - if we eat a meal that's heavy in meat/cheese/dairy and/or bread-pasta, we immediately feel extremely sluggish and it takes hours for that sluggishness to dissipate - but if we eat a meal of fruits, steamed/raw veggies or something like an oriental stir-fry, we're out of the sluggish zone very quickly. Dr. Christopher explains it like this (my paraphrase and additions):

Imagine two machines that process ore daily for decades - they each extract gold from the rough ore that's put into into them. Into one machine is put tons of dirt & rocks that contain tiny particles of gold - into the other is put small amounts of dirt & rocks containing thick veins of pure gold. Which machine is going to require the most maintenance? Which machine is going to break down most often? Which machine is going to 'die' soonest? Of course, the one that has to work the hardest to extract the gold.

Fruits, vegetables, sprouted nuts, seeds & grains in their live, wholesome form (and the oils thereof) are pure gold ore to our bodies. Animals that we eat for their dead flesh, unborn offspring (eggs) and bodily fluids eat pure gold ore to develop their muscles, tissues, offspring, and the fluids they feed their offspring. When we eat these dead animal parts, we are getting the gold, but our bodies (ore-processing machines) have to work very hard to break out the various second-hand nutrients/gold, and then work even harder (with various acids & enzymes our body must create from it's own nutrient stores), so that we can assimilate these second-hand nutrients. And worse yet, all the 'leftover non gold' is very mucous forming because meat & dairy contain absolutely no fiber at all - so it clogs & coats our intestinal tracts, making it even harder for the next shovel of ore to be processed. We expend all that energy and cause all that 'wear & tear' just to get a small amount of the very nutrients we desperately require to sustain our health & life. And let's not even think about "flour"...mix it with water (whether it's white flour or whole grain flour) and it will glue wallpaper on a wall for decades. We could be giving our bodies pure gold...and that's what we need to do if we're going to repair all the damage done so our bodies have the energy and fuel they require to heal themselves.

I'm an Iowa farm girl - my grandpa raised Black Angus cattle and my grandma raised chickens. My home has always been "well stocked" with dairy, meat & cheeses (omg cheese, I LOVE cheese!). You can be assured that there was NO ONE harder to convince than me. In fact, when Rocky53 (my hubby) and I started our healing journey, we actually shook hands and swore to each other than we'd NEVER be extremists, and we both swore we would NEVER even entertain the idea of being vegetarian or vegan. But bit by bit we UNlearned and learned, and now we use organic meat/cheese only as seasonings, and the only way we drink milk is as dairy kefir. Honestly? we do still keep a jar of 'pickled eggs' in the fridge to use in our salads and 'sprout wraps' occasionally. But when we're in "healing mode", it's strictly juice-fasting and vegan eating (except for the milk kefir, of which we're just learning it's benefits...and sorry we didn't learn sooner).

Third grade science (or what used to be 3rd grade science): No life form (no matter how big or small) can sustain life without two things: 1) the ability to assimilate the nutrients it requires, and 2) the ability to expel it's own waste.

Everything in our body DEPENDS DIRECTLY upon having (and being able to assimilate) enough high-grade premium nutrition to fuel our bodies), and our being able to neutralize & expel the poisons we ingest and create.

Do you use a microwave oven? If so, how often?

Yes probably daily  I think you'll quickly see it's time to shut the door and pull the plug...and break-up with that nutrient & health destroyer/killer like a bad boyfriend! :) This is a place we've all been - and surprisingly, it's really not that difficult to 'unplug' ourselves :)

1). Continually eating food processed from a microwave oven causes long term -- permanent -- brain damage by "shorting out" electrical impulses in the brain [de-polarizing or de-magnetizing the brain tissue].

2). The human body cannot metabolize [break down] the unknown by-products created in microwaved food.

3). Male and female hormone production is shut down and/or altered by continually eating microwaved foods.

4). The effects of microwaved food by-products are residual [long term, permanent] within the human body.

5). Minerals, vitamins, and nutrients of all microwaved food is reduced or altered so that the human body gets little or no benefit, or the human body absorbs altered compounds that cannot be broken down.

6). The minerals in vegetables are altered into cancerous free radicals when cooked in microwave ovens.

7). Microwaved foods cause stomach and intestinal cancerous growths [tumors]. This may explain the rapidly increased rate of colon cancer in America.

8). The prolonged eating of microwaved foods causes cancerous cells to increase in human blood.

9). Continual ingestion of microwaved food causes immune system deficiencies through lymph gland and blood serum alterations.

10). Eating microwaved food causes loss of memory, concentration, emotional instability, and a decrease of intelligence.

How "un-wired" are you at home and at work? Cell phone? WiFi? Cordless phone (what mHz or gHz? DECT?); other wireless toys & gadgets?

I use a cell phone, IPOD and I am on my computer at home daily

I know this one is even more of toughie for people to get their head around, but the facts are the facts...and cell phones and electro-gadgets (particularly if they're wi-fi or 'cordless') emit various electronic & magnetic frequencies and radiation/ionizing radiation that mutate tissue & cells, cause cancer and short circuit our body's electrical system. Holding a cell-phone to our head for only a few minutes disrupts/breaks the blood-brain barrier (which protects our brain from poisons/metals/proteins in our bloodstream). Most people think the reason it's unsafe to drive a car while on a cell is the 'distraction factor' (which is definitely a factor),, but the countries that have outlawed it know the real truth. This disruption of the blood-brain barrier and the effect of radiating our brain actually depresses/alters one's reaction time (and associated abilities), not only during, but for around 20 minutes AFTER the call is disconnected. How badly is the reaction time affected? The same as being slightly drunk! What in the world has happens in our brain when electro-magnetic-radiation make us 'drunk' when we haven't ingested any alcohol?!?

I haven't yet had time to compile & post all the necessary documentation for an 'FAQ', but here's a post (the first with 'must see' videos) Please be sure to watch them, and you'll gain a lot of truth! Dirty Electricity & EMF videos & info (heart, blood sugar & adrenals) Re... simply scan the Table of Contents in this one if you don't have time to download/read the .pdf Cell Phone Poisoning Of America (read only if you care about your health)

Of course, NONE of us can 'separate ourselves' from every toxin, poison and health destroying frequency or radiation...and we certainly can't do it overnight. Yet, we have to do our best to stop subjecting our bodies to the things that unnaturally alter our body, so our body's natural healing schematics can work to heal us. Knowledge is the biggest key - learn everything you can about "why" these changes need to be made, and then do your best to prioritize it the best way you can. And PLEASE (always!) feel free to voice any & all questions (and even frustrations). We're all on different steps and we all have different gifts - helping & supporting each other is definitely why we're all here! :)

One of the best/quickest things you can do? Get the cellphone, wifi and all electronic gadgets out of your bedroom so you're not exposed and "radiating" while you sleep! You can easily (cheaply!) find a corded Caller ID phone on eBay and keep that in your bedroom.

Are you exposed to chemicals in the home or workplace frequently? If so, what?

No

FANTASTIC!

Allergies (food, chemical, drugs, other):

Penicillin. I have done several Gluten Tests and nothing has been conclusive so they suggested I go gluten Free

Food "reactions":

Not sure.

You'd know if you had "food reactions" - "yay!" that you don't. Going "gluten free" never hurt anyone (and it's helped tons of folks who had no idea they had a gluten sensitivity).

Pharmaceutical drugs (current/past):

I have tried numerous medications in the past. It is hard to remember everything they have tried me on over the years. Here is the best I can recall. I'll add some quick notes (and questions), and summarize a few thoughts at the end of this section. Just so you know, the various side-effect profiles (at the complete end of this post) are taken from a site called eHealthMe - which compiles ACTUAL adverse effects from actual reports to the FDA. These are not "theoretical" - and we can guesstimate that these numbers represent 10% or less of what really occurs (this is because the majority of the these reports are made by physicians, and it's very uncommon for a physician to admit to a patients that a drug he/she prescribed, has in any way damaged or harmed the patient). Most physicians just prescribe another drug to counteract the adverse effects.

[new addition - I see you're totally off the Difulcan & Wellbutrin now...AWESOME!!!]

Oh yes, about "side effects" (taken from here: http://curezone.com/forums/fm.asp?i=1498182#i )
Allow me to discuss the term "side effects". These two words are VERY often misunderstood...they are taken to mean that unless one sees or feels 'whatever' is on the list of side-effects, that the side effects are NOT occurring.

*!* NOTHING COULD BE FURTHER FROM THE TRUTH *!*

Each side effect that is listed on a side-effect 'profile' is a SYMPTOM of the chemical action of a drug (supplement or isolated nutrient) in the body that causes that side-effect/symptom to appear. This action (whatever it may be) is generally not explained or evident to a user. The chemical action of the substance IS happening, whether or not the side-effect actually appears! When there are no apparent side-effects, this only means that the body IS fighting, and has the strength to combat the action of the drug (to the point of not exhibiting the symptom of the action the drug IS causing).

Hence, many people believe erroneously that because they've taken a drug for several days, weeks, months or years (and experienced no obvious side-effects during that time) that's it's impossible for "new" issues to be related to the same drug they've been taking for some time, without experiencing side-effects. It doesn't work that way - in fact, just the opposite is true (the longer you take a drug, the more likely you are to start exhibiting side-effects). People don't generally develop the side-effect of liver destruction from drinking a 6 pack a day for a few weeks or months (or even years), nor does it appear out of nowhere instantaneosly. The same with cigarettes (or anything toxic, actually) - although the damage IS being done, our bodies (being the miraculous things they are) are able to combat & neutralize these chemicals for quite some time, before the side-effects become very real symptoms and/or evidence of damage. Luckily for us, the body's ability to heal & restore itself is infinite; even if we take these drugs/chemicals to the point we exhibit the result of our body becoming exhausted and no longer able to fight & defend itself, it's almost ALWAYS possible to undo the damage (and of course, correct the original cause/need for a toxic bandaid).

Cuurent-Diflucan 200mg 2x day¬-currently taking on 3rd week Adverse effects below

Current-Wellbutrin XL 150mg¬-have taken about 2 months but I am weaning myself off right now  EXCELLENT! Of all the drugs I'm familiar with, it's the psych-drugs & benzos with which I'm most familiar. You'll be in a much better 'healing position' as you continue to wean off :) Adverse effects below

Current- B12 Shots weekly why?

Nasonex Spray-As needed All steroid drugs are extremely harmful to our bodies, so do your best to eliminate/less this whenever possible. As you cleanse and restore your body, the need for this (allergies/reactions) will subside & disappear. Adverse effects below

Antibiotics-I know when I was in the hospital I was on antibiotics. Also thru the years I have taken them on and off. I have not taken any in 2010. 'Glad to hear you've not had any recently - they really are horrible (we NEED the life in our bodies these drugs kill). And of course, there are natural substances that actually are more effective, as well as safe!

Clonzapam (rarely for sleep) adverse-effects below
***These below are hard to guess it all depends on my pain and migraine cycle for the month and how bad it is for how much I take I realize you're not taking these for the fun of it :( And I'm sorry that 'modern medicine' hasn't done anything for all these years of your pain (except to offer you 'toxic bandaids that only cause more symptoms). Seriously Jackie, I admire your tenacity and your willingness to start taking control of your health and your life! When I first saw this drug list, I was astounded that you're not much sicker & more disabled than you are. And it certainly proves that you are extremely strong-willed and 'in control' to have not become addicted to the Xanax, Clonazepam, Valium (which can cause life-destroying addictions in as little as 4 weeks of regular use) - and the Percoset & Dilaudid are also addictive. Woman, you ARE to be truly commended (and so is your liver)!!!

Imitrex as needed perhaps 8 times a month (more during bad headache cycles) Adverse effects below (of all the ones you're currently taking)

Migranal Spray (as needed for migraine perhaos 1x month at most)

Prednisone Tablets (as needed for migraine perhaps 1 round a month at most). Also did a at home treatment of IV steroids in May of 1010, and in 2009. Be sure to check out the adverse-effects of this one...and do your best to stay away from steroids. Without ANY doubt, steroids are likely 100% responsible for your knee issues and osteopenia :(

Zofran (as needed for nausea¬-perhaps 8 times a month)

Phenergan ((as needed for nausea¬-perhaps 8 times a month)

Naproxen (rarely, at most 1x month). Used to take daily and stopped in June.

Torrodol injections (perhaps 1 x month)

Diludud (as needed in the past about 1x maybe 2 a month)

Percocet (varies at different times. As needed for migrines 1 to 2 times month. During surgery’s was on daily and also when I fractured my knees was on it.
Valium¬¬-as needed varies perhaps 3 or 4 times month

Zanax-as needed perhaps 3 or 4 times month

Past-Armour thyroid and other thyroid meds I cannot remember

Past-cortef, hydrocortisone and low dose prednisone for adrenals

Past-Ritain-very short try about 2 weeks in 2010

Past-Pregnosine Cream and pills. Have tried several throughout the years

Past-morphine IV Pump in hospital

Past other sleeping drugs such as Ambien etc

Another thing to always remember is that these drugs all have adverse-effect profiles (and those are generally taken from 6-8 week clinical trials). These are NOT the long-term effects (which are generally not known at all). The biggest thing that's not known is what happens in the body when we combine these chemicals and what new chemicals are created (and their effects short & long term). What we know for SURE? They're all poisons at some level or another, and they ALL put incredible stress on the liver and kidneys. Somehow (nothing short of a miracle), you haven't expressed that you have specific liver or kidney symptoms, but we know your liver & kidneys have to be 'stressing major' - so we'll definitely need to do some maintenance work there.

Over The Counter drugs (current/past):

Benadryl-take for occasional skin rashes and sometimes for sleep. Taking right now because I think I am having an allergic reaction or something to Wellbutrin

Advil/Tylenol¬-rarely use

Pepto Bismol-on occasion

Imodium AD-on occasion

Exlax-on occasion

Miralax-Tried after hospital but did not like

Supplements (please be as specific as possible as include 'name brands' and amounts taken):

I have tried numerous supplements and herbs over the years. It is hard to remember them all but here is the best I can remember. Previous to November most of my supplements were from Orthomolecular. Now I have been taking MD
Prescriptives which I can get from my doctor at a discount.

When I was diagnosed with the yeast my new doctor said to stop the vitamins because they were not being absorbed. So for about two weeks I have only taken Melatonin and the Probiotic. I recently added magnesium back in because the Diflucan was making me constipated, which I still am

'Super glad to hear you're off the major-majority of the supplements. Most of them are very stressful to the body (for very little value).   Virtually all supplements are "isolated forms" of a nutrient (and many are synthetic). Isolates are missing the dozens/hundreds of other phytochemicals and cofactors necessary for our body to process & utilize them. The isolated forms ALWAYS have some type of adverse or unbalancing effect. Our goal is to restore all systems to fully functioning and do our best to ensure natural balance so the BODY can use it's miraculous healing schematics to restore itself. Any & every time we ingest something that throws our body out of balance, we're just that further away from a true healing. Sure, these supplements may mask or band-aid symptoms...but like we're always saying "no disease is because of a lack of pharmaceuticals or supplements". So many times in alternative healing we just end up spending thousands of dollars only to substitute a shelf of pharmaceuticals for a shelf of supplements. (arrrgh).

True healing always comes faster when we're off the pharmaceuticals & isolated supplements. However, it makes no sense to rip our body away from something it's dependent upon. It's almost certain we'll find a few herbal bandaids that are more 'in balance' with your body to relieve your symptoms until we can get to the root cause...but until then, do your best to keep all drugs & supplements at a minimum, and soon you'll find you're not needing them anymore :)

Other current therapies, cleanses or protocols:

None right now besides the diflucan and Candida diet

What, if anything, are you are doing or taking now that is yielding positive results?

I think the Diflucan has had some results but it is difficult to say.

What, if anything, have you done in the past that yielded negative results?

Not sure

Recent vaccines:

Flu Vaccine yearly  Here's another (likely) shocker - it's been proven/known for decades that vaccines do NOT provide immunity...and they're VERY toxic to our body. Pasteur admitted (on his deathbed) that his "germ theory" was wrong...but by then, the pharmaceutical giants were already raking in millions (now billions) - and his theory was already ensconced as a valid truth :( The links in this thread will give you all the info you need. In the meantime, I strongly suggest that you put your annual injection "on hold" until you've reviewed the data. http://curezone.com/forums/am.asp?i=1391215

How many bowel movements daily/weekly? (color, consistency, etc)

Right now b/c of the Diflucan I am constipated. Most often I go once a day in the am. They seem normal movements, not really hard. Sometimes I will go a 2nd time. I know you've been reading a LOT about bowel & constipation issues. I just want to make sure and clarify - in a general sense "constipation" is anytime we're not having 3-5 normal bowel movements daily (one for every meal eaten and one upon rising and possibly before going to bed). They should be 'about' the color & consistency of peanut butter. Too many can also indicate 'constipation' (because many times 'too many' indicates there are major constrictions, inflammation or impactions that substantially narrow the passageway) - this causes strangely formed (sometimes too runny) and over frequent bms. The diverticulitis is definitely a sign of frequent engorging, impaction & swelling that causes the pockets/herniations to "pop out" - as those are impacted with various putrefying organic matter, we then see the various inflammations & infections.

Do you have a juicer? (if so what kind? centrifugal; single auger; masticating; if you don't know, what's the brand/model?)

I have a Breville juice fountain and also a pretty good blender which I was able to make the green and fruit smoothies in. 'Glad to hear you have a juicer and a good blender (both are essential). I realize the Breville Juice Fountain is VERY fast and super easy to utilize, but frustratingly, it a centrifugal juicer so it provides the least nutrition of any type of juicer. Read through this for more info:
http://curezone.com/upload/_N_Forums/Natural_Heali/JuicerInformation.doc and perhaps you'll end up considering selling your Breville on eBay/other and getting a juicer that provides substantially more healing/healthy benefits. In the meantime (if you're not already), dust that baby off and put 'er to work as often as you possibly can. JUICE-FASTING: The POWERFUL healing therapy! and this MAJOR time-saver: Juicing in canning jars

Current Health Issues (the more details, the better!):

I went to a new doctor recently and his idea was that I had leaky gut and that was the main issue behind all of my problems. I did a stool test from Metametrix and it came back with +3 out of 4 for yeast/fungi. It said I had no parasites and there were no other major issues. He put me on Diflucan 200mg 2x a day for two weeks. I continued the treatment for another two weeks because I thought it was helping. I am still in the process of taking it. I have taken it for about 3 weeks. With or without a "test" it would be almost impossible to convince me that you didn't have a candida overgrowth (due to all the drugs/fluoride and knowing that you've had such severe colon issues). It's extremely uncommon for parasites to show up in ANY stool test :( It's likely 95% or more humans have some type of parasite; the build-up of "mucoid plaque" and decaying organic matter throughout the intestinal tract is THE perfect/major feeding, breeding and hiding place of parasites. Doing a parasite cleanse with your colon cleansing/healing is easy (and not very expensive) - so that's definitely on the 'to do' list below...but it may be something you want to wait to do until after the first 30 days of cleansing and healing restoration. Sure, killing off the yeastie-beasties results in a lessening of symptoms, but it doesn't correct the reason they've over-proliferated. This is a GREAT overview (another "must read"):
Candida Albicans - Intestinal Yeast Overgrowth - Bacterial Dysbiosis - Gut Dysbiosis

We can "sugar starve" and kill them all we want, but they're saprophytes (get their nourishment from 'decaying organic matter'). Candida are part of the natural clean-up crew of the body - too much to clean up = too many of them (and all the symptoms that go along with it). Get rid of the cause and we'll get rid of the overgrowth and the symptoms. We'll definitely add some Slippery Elm to help heal your intestinal tract, repair leaky gut and provide great nutrition. Also (ding! ding! ding!) it's something you can eat and hold down no matter how bad the nausea becomes :) Here's some information on Slippery Elm bark powder: http://healingtools.tripod.com/slipelm2.html

In addition he did say the test showed I had more bad bacteria than good bacteria. He sold me his (of course) expensive probiotic which I have been taking for a month. For as long as I can remember I have taken probiotics, high quality ones which made me surprised that it seemed they have not done anything. Actually we find that this isn't uncommon at all. In a nutshell: when the condition/state of the lining of the colon isn't healthy (particularly when it's coated/covered with junk), there's simply no way for the various microorganisms to recolonize. So the capsules we take are generally "only good" until they're pooped out :( You'll have MUCH better results if you replenish as you cleanse and restore (and afterward too). We currently have a supply of water kefir grains so you can make your own water kefir (just be sure to ask in the 'Note section' when you place your order and we'll be sure to send you some free), and you'll likely want to get some milk kefir grains so you can start making your own dairy kefir (very inexpensive and extremely effective). You can save a few of those expensive capsules and mix some in with the kefirs (if you want to experiment :). Just be sure to utilize only organic, non-homogenized milk (raw if at all possible).   This is where I suggest you get dairy kefir grains:
Real Kefir Grains · Quality Probiotic Cultures

The Metametrix botanicals test came back that the yeast fungi were sensitive to: Garlic, Uva Ursi, Oregano, Cats Claw and Oil of Thyme. It is resistant to: Black Walnut, Wormwood, Goldenseal, Caprylic Acid, Olive Leaf, and Undecylenic Acid.  I am very skeptical of these types of test, because I much prefer to make my decisions based on symptoms & results. It's virtually impossible to recreate the conditions of the human body outside of the human body - and responses in a test tube or petri dish typically are much different than those that occur within the human body. Whatever my opinion, it's garlic that's THE most effective for yeast/fungi, so we're "good to go" there.

The yeast is what led me to this forum. :::smile::: you're likely getting quite a bit more than you bargained for, eh? :) I'm much more interested in true healing, than just addressing one or two isolated 'issues'.

In June 2009 I had emergency surgery on my colon. I had to have a piece of my colon removed and I had a colostomy bag for 5 months. In November they reversed the surgery. Unknown to me, I had Diverticulosis and I had a very bad attack which punctured my colon. Previous to this I did not really have any stomach issues. Some nausea on and off and bloating but nothing else.

My 1st hospital stay with the surgery was about 9 days in June of 2009. About 2 weeks after I was released I got sick and ended up back in the hospital for about 5 days. I was throwing up and unable to keep food down. Then in Nov 2009 I had the reversal surgery and was in the hospital for about 7 days. During these hospital stays I was on a morphine pump, antibiotics, and other things. I took Percocet after the surgeries as well for the pain. There was also the anesthesia from the surgery.

In November before my 2nd surgery I had a Colonoscopy which came up clear except for Diverticulosis.
Whew, all that had to be seriously stressing, worrisome and all around "rough". I'm glad to hear you got through it all as successfully as you have.   I think it's pretty strange that they tell someone a colonoscopy that reveals diverticulosis is "clear" except for that. Do they think that somehow bubbles & pockets that can rupture the intestinal tract happen for no reason? Allopathic tests are sometimes SO misleading (not to mention dangerous). It's fantastic that they were able to do a reversal successfully. Now it'll be MUCH easier to actually heal your colon & digestive tract (which will aid/assist so many of your other symptoms!).

I have had many health issues in my life and before November I struggled but was able to maintain life most of the time. After my surgery in November everything changed. As one of my doctors said I am basically flatlined, depleted everywhere. All of the previous medical issues are still there but in addition there has been extreme fatigue and depression which seem to be debilitating to me. I got laid off in Feb which turned out to be a hidden blessing. I have been able to spend these months recuperating and trying to figure out a way to get better.  It is very common for people that have taken large amounts of pharmaceuticals to have a major decline after a surgery. We simply have no idea how desperately our body is fighting daily just to keep our blood cleansed from the tens of thousands of toxins we're constantly exposed to (and how compromised our organs have become because of it). And when we combine 'whatever the need was' for surgery AND the vast amount of drugs, anesthesia and truly sickening environment of hospitals (not to mention the dead, nutrient void food) - well, our bodies simply cannot stand the stress of it all. There's just too many symptoms and issues that's it's been fighting 'on the edge' for us to be able to withstand 'all of the above' PLUS the trauma of the carving into our bodies. Perhaps you're aware -?- ...modern medicine is statistically the leading cause of death in the USA. Yes, going to a hospital/doctor and taking drugs as prescribed IS the most common cause of death. Not cancer, not accidents, not heart disease...death. And that doesn't even count the millions & millions of people that are disabled from it. As soon as you find the time (this is long), but if you do value your life (and that of those you love) - this information in this article (and the links after the 'red letter update') is very important knowledge to have & understand:
Please read! Understanding me/Unyquity VERY IMPORTANT SCHULZE STUFF

Here is a list of ongoing medical issues that I have been diagnosed with or struggle with:

Migraines/Pain: When I was about 15/16 I started to have migraines and have continued thru the years. I have seen numerous doctors, done MRIs, Cat Scans, etc etc. On a normal month I may get 5 to 8 migraines. In the past I have had some that last for months. Or when I get my cycle they can last from 5 days to two weeks. Right now my protocol with them is first Imitrex, I can take this for a few days but if it goes on too long then I have to move to another product. Sometimes Torradol Injections,Migranel Spray, or Valium. If the migraine cycle continues then I have to move onto the narcotics. I use Percocet or Diluidid. If the cycle continues past that then often the only way to stop it is with a short course of steroids. I also get nerve blocks in my head and trigger point injections in my back. I did a round in May 2010 but that was the 1st time in years. In the recent years my migraines have increased during my cycle. These are usually the ones that last anywhere from days to weeks. When things have gotten really bad I have had home IV treatments consisting of Steriods and other IV drugs. I did this in May 2010 to try and stop a horrible migraine cycle I was having and had previously done it twice before, once in the hospital. I tried topamax for a few years for the migraines but went off it when I was trying to get “clean” and stop all the daily meds.

I'm guessing you remember the lady in Dr. Schulzes colon newsletter that suffered for decades with migraines, and had them disappear completely after a thorough colon cleanse. And you likely wouldn't buhLEEV how integral this is and how it interconnects with our period. The sigmoid wraps directly around the ovaries/uterus, and even the slightest swelling can "squish" them 'out of function' - causing all KINDS of female/hormonal issues and pressing on various nerves (which then signal/press on the others, and then others...) that can create symptoms and issues that doctors never correlate. For several days before our period arrives, our uterus is at it's most swollen, so if this is the 'baseline cause' of your migraines, it would be logical that this would be the time you're most likely to get them (and no matter what you do or what drugs you take, they won't recede until the uterine swelling recedes). I'm sure the docs have asked you a zillion questions about possible issues surrounding the onset of the migraines in your teens, but have they ever asked you things like: around the time of onset did you experience any gastro-intestinal issues? start taking drugs (particularly birth control pills) that caused any type of constipation or bowel issues? any intestinal trauma? uterine/ovarian trauma? anything that resulted in constipation or a change of bowel movements (drugs, stress, change of diet, new school, etc). Or sometimes there's really nothing that causes it (other than the need for some healthy 'colon maintenance work and change of our diet and/or adequate hydration). In her youth, my sister thought she might have a hernia and the doc diagnosed 'fecoliths' (basically hardened poop balls), and basically told her not to worry about it. Me? from here: For GOOD learning! +Uny & Rocky53's past healings
I stopped/reversed premature menopause & extreme hormonal issues (which included a 6-10 pound monthly weight gain, excessively/dangerously heavy bleeding/clotting (that required 2 super-plus tampons concurrently, every 2 hours for 2-3 days), extreme pain & cramping (I took 4, 250mg ibuprofen every two hours around the clock for 2-3 days) and brutal pms & emotional swings for 2 weeks monthly; my period is now totally normal; I am free of pain & cramping;  I have virtually no emotional swings (maybe for a few hours); I have only less than a pound of fluid gain; and the bleeding is normal & healthy. I cured PCOS (although I may have a bit of insulin resistance left...)
What did I do to reverse all that mess? 'Got off the toxic foods and did my first thorough colon cleanse. Yep, really.
I realize (of course) there may be other 'migraine triggers', but knowing that all the scans revealed nothing-nada-zero-zip, and "they" haven't been able to isolate the cause, I'm sure the colon cleansing/healing is the first step (and since it's also imperative for all the various digestive tract/colon issues & candida), you're bound to realize a LOT of positive benefits (you may start seeing/feeling them after only a week or two).

In addition to migraines I get tension headaches and have chronic pain throughout my body. The pain is mainly on my shoulders, neck and upper back. When I can afford it I go for a massage which does help. I used to take Naproxen daily but recently stopped this and only take it when needed. I also take valium as needed for the muscle pain. We've already talked about 'cayenne for pain', and it's likely to give you a lot of relief. There are two other things that are extremely effective. One is coffee enemas (crazy, I know), the other is EFT.
Coffee Enemas and pain - I don't think anyone actually knows how they work, only that they do (and can be phenomenally effective for many times of pain). CE's were actually discovered by WWI 'field nurses' (with wounded soldiers when they had no drugs). Enemas of various kinds have always been used for "pain", but these nurses were in a desperate situation and not able to stop the pain. One of them decided to cool down a pot of coffee from the surgeons office (war rations, only the docs had 'coffee rations') and try it. And it worked! Coffee Enemas were in the Merck Manual from that time up through the mid/late 1970's - then they were taken out for "space consideration" (I guess they needed space to list more drugs). Anyway, the bottom line (no pun intended) is that CE's are our friend in MANY different ways.
EFT - this has been known to "break a migraine" and relieve pain, stress and a myriad of different ailments.  It's basically 'accupuncture without the needles' and you can do it yourself!  If you haven't heard of it, you're going to LOVE it (and best of all, it's totally free and SUPER easy to learn). Here's the homepage: EFTUniverse.com
And here's the best video tutorial I've seen yet:YouTube - Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) with Aila
The teacher/RN on the vidoe above goes VERY slowly, but once you learn the tapping sequence you can do a full round in less than 5-7 minutes. Many times it's not even necessary to do a full round. Check out the homepage and always remember: "Tap on ANYTHING"!
Oh yes, there's another thing that you can utilize (something that you'll definitely want to do when you get into liver work) and that's foot reflexology. All you do is find the point on your foot/feet that correlate with your pain (or area you're wanting to support/heal) and then "dig in hard" with your thumb or a hard/rounded object. We use the end of the pestle (mortar & pestle). Here's a chart (remember, the feet are "looking at you" :) Reflexology foot map - Dorling Kindersley
Foot reflexology is a healing therapy/modality (like castor oil packs) that is HIGHLY underestimated and underused!

I take Phenergan and Zofran for the nausea with the headaches. Sometimes I just get nauseous for no reason and have to take it. I have tried to lessen it since I found out it causes constipation. I can tell you're doing your best to stay away from the pharmaceuticals (good for you!). I don't know what all you've tried but ginger root is usually the most effective 'anti nausea herb' we have (other than cannabis). Even the aroma/fumes of ginger reduce nausea - so if you haven't yet tried it, make yourself a cup of ginger root tea and give it a try.
Dr. Christopher recommends these herbs for nausea:
Anise seed, cinnamon bark, cloves, European avens, giant Solomon seal, ginger, golden seal (pregnancy and other), lavender, mint, origanum, peach leaves, pennyroyal (not for pregnancy), peppermint, raspberry leaves, spearmint, sweet balm, whortleberry, wild yam.
Also, the Liver/Detox/Digestion tea might be extremely soothing and beneficial (you'll need this for the liver cleansing anyway). Here's information about it: http://curezone.com/schulze/handbook/detoxification.asp (it's yummy :)

Fatigue: I have struggled for years with fatigue. When I was working full time I could often fall asleep at 7 or 8pm. Just too tired to stay awake. Now I am seem to have extreme fatigue all the time. If I have to do alot I usually have to have caffeine to make it thru. I have done salvia tests, blood tests, etc. My cortisol levels are low and I have been told that I have adrenal issues. Since Dec 2009 they have tried me on cortef, hydrocortisone and low dose prednisone. I stopped this when my face got puffy like a chickmunk and I got horrible acne! I have tried other various things thru the years but nothing has helped. I can certainly understand why you'd be experiencing "fatigue" - I'm sure your body is exhausted :( When you review all the various adverse-effects of all the pharmaceuticals you'll have a much more clear 'picture' of what your body is actually dealing with...and it's dealing with it all with organs that have never had any regular maintenance. Honestly, we both know this isn't going to be some kind of a "quick fix", but I really do believe you're going to experience very positive results in a relative short period of time (folks with "multiple issues" that have never done any cleansing always do - especially when they add ample Superfood & juiceing). Do you sleep soundly when you sleep?
Adrenal (plus thyroid issues below) - the absolute BEST starting place with either of these is one of my favorite herbs - Ashwagandha. It's what's known as an "adaptogen"...it doesn't "speed up anything" or "slow down anything", it helps your body regulate itself and adapt. It's also good for relieving inflammation, bolstering the immune system (always necessary with candida issues) and it's beneficial for depression, stress and fatigue (it has many other attributes). Here's more information: Ashwagandha: Wonder Herb of India - East West School of Herbology - Come study with Michael Tierra

Depression: I believe that for years I have struggled with depression. It became very bad after my surgery in November. I think part of this is a physical response to the surgeries and how my body is reacting. I have not wanted to take any daily medication for it and fought it recently when I felt I had to try something. I tried 5-HTP and it did not seem to work for me so about 2 months ago I started the anti-depressant, Wellbutrin. I do not think it is doing much so I have decided to try and start weaning myself off. I suffered with "genetic severe clinical depression" for over 15 years. I was officially "incurable" and had to be on meds for the rest of my life. ::::insert huge smirk here::: I still have a Prozac capsule in plain sight on my desk, just to remind me how WRONG they are about depression!   I tried everything to get off the drugs (including, I think, every encapsulized version of St. John's Wort on the market). A good colon, liver, and kidney cleansing (what I now know is something I should have been doing yearly, the same way I do maintenance on a car or any other equipment) and fish oil, a gradual taper and I was "all done Prozac". Oh how I wish I'd had a quality, whole-herb St. John's Wort tincture back then. Depression is still my 'weakest link' (we all have them, they're mostly genetic). Any time I'm overdue for a cleanse or I'm "off my game", the symptoms start sneaking back in. A few days of St. John's Wort always makes a HUGE difference...and it's definitely what I suggest (it's also good for muscle pain). It may not be something you ever need after you've restored your health, but it's fantastic for relieving the symptoms of depression.
St. John's Wort is known to lower the levels of some drugs in the bloodstream (because it enhances liver detoxification of the drugs). The databases indicate there *might* be a interaction with Imitrex. This warning is "theoretical, based on pharmacology" (meaning there's never been a known reaction, they just think there's the possibility of one). I personally doubt there's any type of a risk, but it's not my body. My suggestion would be to get a sample and give it a try when you're not taking the Imitrex. "Herbal lore" tells us that we should take something for two weeks in order to notice a benefit, but I know many people (including myself) that can feel the difference after only a few days.

Thyroid issues-On and off for about 8 years I have taken thyroid medications. I have never really seen any difference in how I felt. Some doctors I see say I have a problem and others thru the years say I do not. I have taken Armour, compounds, just T3/4 etc thru the years. After Nov my doctor put me on armour and then took me off of it. I had another doctor prescribe a compound medication for me but I have not started it. I say give the Ashwagandha a try and then take it from there. It's likely you could a few months of plant-based Iodine. We have that in Dr. Christopher's Kelp Combination...but I hate to see folks spend money on herbs they might not need (not all thyroid issues are 'lack of iodine').

Stomach: Blueciel mentioned something in a post to me about her stomach which I thought I should mention since it applied to me too. I have never been able to get my stomach flat. Years ago when I was working out hardcore 6 days a week I still had a belly. Since my surgery in Nov it has gotten worse. To the point one of my nieces pats my belly like I am pregnant! I am not sure if it is the fact they cut thru my muscles (my incision goes from my belly button straight down. And there is a 2nd shorter one next to it.) or other issues. I usually poop about 1x or 2x a day. Not often am I constipated unless I have taken certain medicines. I sometimes feel bloated as well. There have been no additional bowel problems since my surgery in November. It sounds to me like you're referring to 'lower down' than your actual stomach (which is #4 in the image below).
http://curezone.com/upload/_N_Forums/Natural_Heali/dig_organs_torso_1.jpg
Once again (as I'm sure you're "getting") 1-2 bms daily isn't normal or healthy at all, it's 2-3 bowel movements short of what is truly normal. ALL animals (on their natural diet in the wild), poop when then wake up and 20-30 minutes after everytime they eat anything substantial. Once you 'get there', you know how 'normal it isn't' to only have one bm a day...and you'll also know why animals don't need toilet paper (lol). Once our bms are normal consistency, we barely need more than a quick swipe ourselves! (just another benefit, on top of the bms being odorless :)
Yes, a poochy stomach that 'no exercise will flatten' is typically a sign of colon congestion (and if it's higher, it can be a swollen liver, particularly if it's a bit 'right sided')
Sigh, "bloated" - with all that decades-old junk in there, the gas level is fantastical. Another thing to pay attention to is "transit time" (time from when you put something in your mouth, to when it appears in the toilet). This should be around 8 hours. Think if you chewed an entire meal, it was mixed with saliva/digestive enzymes, but instead of swallowing it, you spit it into a jar, closed the lid tightly, and put it in a dark oven at around 100 degrees. How long before the jar would explode from the gas pressure? We've got around 30 feet of convoluted, flexible tubing that will expand to contain it, but if it's not outta there in 8-10 hours, "bloating" is inevitable (as well as acid reflux, hiatal hernia, diverticulitis, etc).
Our liver is VERY important here - bile from the liver is our natural IF#1 (it helps create peristalsis - the squeezing action of the intestines). And when they're stretch out and pocketed, they need all the squeezing action they can get (especially when we eat foods like meat & dairy which have no fiber to help the process at all). So when the liver is congested, it's difficult to achieve healthy bowel activity. I've helped a few people that did a full colon cleanse but would do any liver cleansing...until they got through their colon cleanse and found they still couldn't achieve normal bowel activity. A few liver flushes later? bingo-bango-boombo :)

Sleep: I have always struggled one way or another with sleep. Most often it is waking up thru the night. I also do not really ever feel like I have gotten a restful sleep. I do not think I sleep deeply at all. I wake up with most sounds. I tried sleeping pills over the years but nothing really worked and my preference is to go natural if I can. Recently I have been taking Melatonin and that seems to help along with a loud fan to block out noise. I also take Magnesium to help with sleep and bowel movements. Sometimes when it is bad I have taken Xanax or Clonazepam. Got it (ignore the question above). #1, do your best to stay away from the benzos (xanax, clonazepam, valium) - they're the thing most likely to help the symptom and worsen the condition. They are insidiously addictive (4 weeks or less can cause a life-destroying addiction), that evidences itself in all manner of symptoms (inability to sleep being one of the most common). Make sure you do 15 minutes of 'barefooting' every day (you might be amazed at the relief you get in the sleeping department). The herbal tincture most likely to create a sound, uninterrupted sleep is also the most expensive. It's called Lady's Slipper, and it's phenomenally effective. (I say "expensive", but it's really not, because our price for Lady's Slipper is equivalent to all the 'big retailers' normal prices on herbs). It's just "expensive" in our 'product line'. Most people are sleeping within 20-30 minutes of taking 1-2 teaspoons of the tincture (approximately 4-8 droppersful). This is another area where EFT can be extremely effective.

Bones: About May 2010 I started to exercise very hard, trying to get back in shape. I was on the treadmill once or twice a day and begin running in short spurts. I ended up with stress fractures in both of my knees which are still in the process of healing. The doctor said I worked out too hard too fast. I had a Bone Density test done and it said I have Osteopenia. For as long as I can remember I have taken Calium Supplements and Vitamin D.
Calcium supplements are almost always ground up rocks or shells. Our bodies accept them, but don't assimilate them adequately (most say an adult assimilates around 12%). The worst part is that what we can't utilize accumulates throughout the body causing all these lovely issues (from this post:Rock-based Calcium (and other rock-based minerals) )--It has been tested & proven many times over that the rock-based forms of Calcium have an absorption rate of approximately 12% or less (depending upon age of the person ingesting them). The body MUST remove the unabsorbed portion (88%) from the bloodstream. It ends up in the joints of the bones, the spine, the bones themselves, the arteries, the lungs, eyes, kidneys (or anywhere else the body chooses to put them), causing states of dis-ease such as arthritis, bone spurs, spinal stenosis (and many other spinal issues), cataracts, brittle arteries, kidney stones, liver/gallbladder stones, emphysema (and other conditions that are caused when the tissues become ‘non-elastic’ and coated/saturated with ground-up rocks or 'colloidal' rock-based minerals).
Plants eat rocks, humans eat plants - that's how we're designed to get our minerals. The most effective calcium supplements are plant-based. The best I know of is Dr Christopher's Herbal Calcium (more info below in the 'recommendations')

Hormonal: Some doctors say I had low progesterone and other times they say I don’t. Blood work has varied at different times. I have tried progesterone cream many times thru the years but it always had a bad effect on me. I have not tried again in about 4/5 years. My issues with my cycle have also gotten worse as I have gotten older. My migraines are the worst during this time; I also get bad cramps as well. I truly believe a huge percentage of this 'hormonal thing' will disappear after your first 30 days colon cleansing/healing round (I also believe it's likely you'll need at least another 30 days). If you feel you want to supplement, Dr. Schulzes Female Formula is awesome. I know that when I used 'hormone supplements' before I did my first colon cleanse, the results were always negative. Now I know it's because there wasn't anything truly "wrong" with me at all, it was simply my liver couldn't process what hormones I was making adequately, and I couldn't make enough because my ovaries were squished out of shape/function.  My body didn't want supplements, it wanted to be healed. However, at that time, I didn't think to buy/try the Female Formula (because I'd had negative experiences with other low-quality herbs). If you'd like to give it a try, here's the information and dosage instructions: FEMALE (TONIC) FORMULA

Memory: Well I just do not seem to have much of one
anymore. My sort term is bad. The best thing for this is Dr. Schulzes Brain Formula (the one I suggested to help with migraines). The major herb in it is Ginkgo, but it has others to create a strong/effective synergistic action. It is slightly stimulating due to the "1 part Kola Nut" (which contains natural caffeine). You can learn more about it here: Brain Formula Tincture By Dr. Richard Schulze

I also read on a questionnaire ”sensitivity to fragrances and/or other chemicals” is a symptom of Candida, well I do have a sensitivity.  Chemical sensitivity is also strongly associated with an overburdened liver.

I have numerous blood tests as well as the Stool test info if that will help you at all. I had a heavy metals blood test done recently that came back negative. I also recently had a blood level nutrition profile done by Spectracell and it all came back that nothing was low. It's great you're not showing 'heavy metals'...but you're not low on any "nutrition"? That's just ridiculous...well, actually it's not, because these tests are based on "the average American" (and the average American is dreadfully undernourished). Oooh, that reminds me (another good "truth") - The Faulty Mathematics of "Medicine" - check it out when you get a chance: The Faulty Mathematics of Medicine

If you've consulted any type of practitioner, what did they determine or suggest? Do you agree?

Everyone has different opinions which you can see from my medical notes. I have been told I have diverticulosis, migraines, tension headache, Occipital Neuralgia, Osteopenia, Fractured Knees (which are healing) Thyroid Issues, Adrenal issues, Hormonal issues, Depression, ADD/ADHD, CFS, Fibromyalgia, Leaky Gut, Autoimmune disorder, etc Wow, 'sounds to me like they're ready to push you in the casket and close the lid. You know what? It doesn't matter if you DO have all those things - your body knows exactly how to restore itself and it has the ability to do it. All we need to do is lend a helping hand to help it back to it's natural homeostasis and harmony (and be sure to give it all the top-grade premium fuel it needs)!

Have you ever done any "cleansing"? (colon, liver, kidney, etc); if so, when and what type/product & results?

Nothing except for the bowel cleanse (drink thing) I had to do before my colonoscopy and 2nd surgery. I have fasted before but it has been a few years

What other types of allopathic, alternative or natural therapies or protocols have you tried (if any)? results?

Massage Therapy worked great for my pain/migraines but it is too expensive to do consistently so now I do it only when I am very bad. There might be others but I cannot remember

Past issues, drugs, surgeries that you think may be contributing to current issues?

I think surgeries listed above in 2009 can be contributing to the worsening of my issues and debilitation that seems to be occurring now.

Any major changes in diet, supplements, drugs, stress-levels, location, lifestyle recently? results?

I changed to the Candidia Diet about a week ago and as listed about also went 100% Gluten Free. I have not seen any results yet. As far as other major changes it would be the surgeries listed above.

Are you aware of the difference between "alternative medicine" and truly natural healing?

Not 100% sure

What do YOU think & discern is wrong (and why?)

It may seem from reading all of this, all the medicines/narcotics I have taken that I like to medicate. The truth actually is that I do not. Since my surgery’s things have gotten more difficult physically so I will admit I have turned to the medication more easily than in the past. I would always prefer to find a natural way to heal my body and I have tried several things over the years. That is what led me to eating raw. I have seen ND doctors, along with a long list of other doctors. I cannot even begin to think of all the money I have spent over the years trying one thing or another, going to this doctor or ND, trying anything I could find to feel better.

After reading up on the forum for weeks I think that yeast and other things might be the solution to some of my health problems. You asked “why” and I guess because my symptoms seem to match up to so many listed. The medical issues I have could be so many other things as well but I think thru the years I have explored all of those with no true results, just more maintaining at times. I have explored so much out there to try and get better but this is one area I have not explored. I do think most if not all of my health issues have an underlying cause. The problem is thru the years the doctors have been treating the symptoms but have never been able to find the underlying cause. I have been reading so much on the forum but just seem to get more and more confused. I have also read a few books. I have been unable to come up with a plan of action. That is what I am looking for. While I am not working this is the perfect time to do any of this and I am ready to try it out but I just need some help with a plan.

After reading some of your info here are a few questions I have. They may not been relevant depending on your thoughts of a plan for me.

1.After reading some of your info it talks about doing a juice fast while cleansing. I think (and I could be wrong) that something on Dr. Schultze info said to get the bowel working first and then do the juice fast?

2.If you do a juice fast while doing a bowel cleanse would I do green smoothies with my blender since my juicer separates the pulp?

3.Would there be any concerns with my past colon surgery and Diverticulosis with doing a cleanse? My colon is totally healed according to the surgeon.

4.I think awhile back I tried Psyllium and it made me bloated. I do not think I used it for long. Just wondering if you take any type of senne tea or anything while doing the cleanse if you become constipated?

5.I am totally confused about fruit and whether or not I should be eating it right now. Some things say not at all, others say green apples okay, others say stop whatever you have been eating a lot for three weeks and then reintroduce. Also if you do a juice fast would you not use fruit with it?

6.I am a little afraid of enemas. I had enough dealing with my poop . But, if it would help me I wouldJwhile I had an colostomy bag… certainly be willing to try but would need a lot of info on the best way to do it.

7.What are your thoughts on Candida Diet and such? Again I read so much conflicting info about feeding the yeast etc.
Sorry for the incredibly long book about my health issues but I wanted to be as detailed as possible. Weird to think so many people might be reading it but perhaps it can help others

As I said, I would be incredibly grateful if you could help me come up with a plan. I understand if you are not able to, just thought it was worth trying.

With gratitude,
Jackie

Recommendations "internally" (I've underlined what's available in our Storefront - or you can get most from Dr. Schulzes website or from Health Freedom Resources, or make your own)

--One gallon of distilled or R/O filtered water daily.

--Superfood ("Original" if juice-fasting or vegan; "Special Blend" if eating meat and/or dairy). 2 Tablespoons daily for "typical living", 4-6 Tablespoons daily for energy & healing. 14 oz provide 2T daily for 30 days.
We must provide easy to assimilate fuel and nutrition when asking our body to have the energy to cleanse & heal. Most of our bodies don't get enough fuel to 'make it through the day', let alone enough for our bodies to do "more". More info: SuperFood by Dr. Schulze

--IF#1 & IF#2 - for deep, thorough colon cleansing, removing/healing diverticulitis, assisting with candida overgrowth & restoring the terrain of your intestinal tract so that the beneficial organisms can colonize...and ensuring that your body is assimilating nutrition, able to eliminate waste, and that you're not continuing to toxify your body/bloodstream via the water/nutrients that soak/seep through the toxic build-up & debris. As you've seen in Dr. Schulzes colon newsletter, it may be that this issue is at the root of the migraine issue. This is also the first issue to address for hormone related issues, as the sigmoid colon wraps directly around uterus/ovaries.
30 days minimum. Follow dosage recommendations here: http://curezone.com/schulze/handbook/intestinal.asp#2 (the 8-16 oz of water after each of the 5 daily doses is not included in the 'daily gallon').

--

--ACV Bomb (or Uny Bomb) - before every meal, have an ACV Bomb (1 Tablespoon of raw/organic apple cider vinegar; 1 "dose" of Cayenne powder; 1-3 minced cloves of garlic and 1 Tablespoon of organic Blackstrap molasses or raw local honey) If you add UnyWorm AntiParasite liquid to this, it's a Uny Bomb :)

The Garlic, ACV & Cayenne are all strong anti-candida/parasite herbs - the benefits of all three individually are phenomenal (something we should all have daily). The Blackstrap or raw honey are for nutrition. If you feel it's too 'sugary' with the Candida issues, then you can leave it out. My opinion? With THREE strong anti-candida herbs and just a tablespoons of Blackstrap/Honey (dissolved into the ACV), I don't think it's an issue. You can add a bit of water (a "gulp's worth" or two) - just don't dilute it too much or you won't get all the benefits of the ACV.

Here's a couple of 'general information' threads regarding the ACV Bomb: http://curezone.com/forums/am.asp?i=1583018

--Slippery Elm bark powder - 1-3 tablespoons daily (this can be added to the IF#2 mixture, but it's much more effective if taken separately in the form of a "porridge". It can be made with water, but it's MUCH tastier if made with apple juice (with a bit of cinnamon, nutmeg and a touch of natural sweetener like maple syrup or honey). We have this available if you want to get it from us (to save on shipping), but it's also available at Pacific Botanicals, Mountain Rose or Starwest Botanicals (we get ours from either PB or MR) http://healingtools.tripod.com/slpelmgrl.html

How much do you need?
Slippery Elm Bark
1-3T daily = 4-12 grams daily x 30.5 days = 122- 366 grams (one pound is 454 grams)

--St John's Wort Tincture (for depression) - recommended dosage is 2-4 dropperfuls 3x daily

--Herbal Calcium Tincture - this is one of Dr. Christopher's formulas and is FANASTICALLY effective for helping to rebuild bones. It's full of plant-based calcium & silica. Check out HOW effective here: Healing broken bones & relieving pain - Re: Broken Leg: 18 month old
Recommended dosage is 2-4 droppersful 3x daily

--Ashwagandha - 1-3 Tablespoons daily (mixed with water or juice). I'd start with 1T and work up to 3T (if you need it).  The word ashwagandha is allegedly translated to 'sweat & strength of a horse'...and when you taste it, you'll definitely be thinking "sweat of a horse" lol (I always mix mine with a couple of gulp's worth of apple juice). But I've never shyed-away from taking it because it's always been so beneficial for me. You can get this at Mountain Rose or Starwest Botanicals (always be sure to get "organic"!!!) - Pacific Botanicals also has it (they grow it there, which is wonderful), but the taste is so strong from PB that I literally cannot swallow it (and that has NEVER happened to me with any other herb).

How much do you need?
Ashwagandha
1-3T daily  = 7.6 - 22.8 grams daily x 30.5 days = 232 - 696 grams (454 grams in a pound)

--Female Formula tincture ???
--Brain Formula tincture ???

Recommendations "therapy"

--Barefootin'! (to remove "toxic frequencies" from your body, and help induce relaxation and a sound sleep) - at least 15 minutes daily no matter what the weather (in the snow/winter, just put on a couple of pairs of heavy socks) -Barefootin andhttp://curezone.com/forums/fm.asp?i=1635712#i

--Increase circulation to increase energy and assist healing (oxygen/blood flow is essential)... via exercise 3x daily (5 minutes each session to start, or until you sweat or face turns red).

--Increase circulation to increase energy and assist healing (oxygen/blood flow is essential)...via hot/cold showers. One hot/cold shower daily. The goal is to get the water as hot as you can stand it (for 2 minutes or longer), then totally turn off the hot water for 2 minutes, then back to hot, then cold, etc...for a total of 7-8 cycles of hot/cold. This might also bring major relief for the migraines.
