I have a tilted uterus too. Mine got lost in my uterus. Removal was a nightmare in the hospital, but at least it wasn't embedded.
Also, I forgot to mention that I struggled with hair loss after my last baby. I didn't have trouble after the other 3. I have thin, fine hair anyway, so this was a bummer. But I didn't have the IUD placed until 10 months after the baby was born. So, my hormones were already causing hair loss, for the first time in my life. It slowed down while the Mirena was in, but when I started my big reaction, the hair loss became severe. Not in patches, but overall thinning of already thin hair :)
