She sounds more Histrionic than NPD dude,
I personally don't think she has NPD, the two can sometimes be confused, as can NPD and Borderline.

She could be Bipolar too, although then she'd be on a manic phase, then depressive, or hypomanic, then depressive, so it sounds to me more like Histrionic.

If she is Histrionic, therapy and I think some meds can help make thigns bearable.

However, if she is a Narcissist (Somatic Narcissist if she is one), then chances are, she won't be able to be cured to be brutally honest with you, Narcissists don't see themselves as having anything wrong with them and they don't have empathy towards people, they like being punitive as it gives them a sense of power and control, that's their main thing - power and control.

My advice to you is, answer to us if she has the following :

# Grandoise sense of self
# Treats people like Objects
# Has an overt self esteem to an abnormal level
# Has a huge sense of entitlement
# Has quick attachment and abandonment

If she does, chances are she could be.

I agree with BlueRose though, you should yourself talk to someone, it seems that either you were manipulated and genuinely thought she changed (if she is a narcissist, fat chance she will ever change), or you have codependent symtoms due to low self esteem.
Either way, it's not too good for you.

With Histrionics, you can persuade her to get some help, with Narcs, it's NC, only way to deal with them.

Get a paternity test, make sure it's your kid, and if it is, hope to God that there is a way you can get main custody or something, as a narcissist makes a HORRIBLE parent, not to try to scare you, but it goes anywhere from manipulating, devaluing and controlling the child in the mild form, to even abuse and molestation in the extreme forms (as they see people as mere extensions of themselves, and have zero empathy or sympathy)
