Re: A critical thinking exercise.

I am someone who is saying/writing
something is awfully dead fishy
about this. I am not passing final
judgment until all efforts within
reason have been made to stop this
well from spewing oil. By now, I am
feeling rather passionate about it
also, and wishing people were
lined up by the hundreds protesting
the news blackouts and the foot
dragging which has grown over the
months into a virtual limp.

I do stand on the other side of the
fence and try to convince myself
that my growing feelings of betrayal
and suspicion are merely conspiratorial
but there are too many others who are
also feeling the same way, and also
there is little to champion BPs
response to this disaster for.

I also am at a crossroads where what
I think and consider or do not may
well mean that my health is irreversibly
affected for the rest of my life.

Just on the point alone that there
is little information being disseminated
to the public which jives with the
reality of what is happening. For
example, just this evening, BP is
claiming that the rashes and headaches
and other symptoms workers are experiencing
are merely a virus. Who should I believe,
the workers and their private physicians
or the BP health officials who are telling
medical personnel at the BP health clinic/
stations, they can only hand out bandaids
or aspirin, OR, someone who is telling
me that BP is hiding the truth of the
health repercussions and offers much
more advice~~

After digging through piles of anecdotal
evidence and expert opinions and also the
rants and rages of the Conspiracy hounds,
I have to admit that there is something
going on. I do not pretend to know what
it is, but I know what is going on is not
right. There is much more to the story
and no matter how many times CNN tries
to make me believe they are doing the
best they can to ferret out the truth,
I just do not believe it. They are of
course, also tied to BP money deep down
and so their boardmembers are not anxious
to burn bridges.

Having gone through Katrina and also
listening to the aftermath of 9-11
in painful detail, I suppose it is more
natural for me to distrust what is
being said, the goal being that if a lie
is told enough, we will believe it. I
wanted to then, now I think I need to
be much more discerning and to seek
truth for myself. I am less distracted
too since I need to have enough information
to make some personal choices that will be
difficult. As it is, I am also feeling
very ANGRY because my family members who
still trust our government and especially
CNN will do nothing to protect their
health unless CNN explicitly tells them
to. When Newport posts information which
can save lives~~

http://www.washingtonsblog.com/2010/07/toxicologists-corexit-ruptures-red.html

~~and CNN and the government is not
printing this info in every newspaper
and posting daily air quality reports,
I am angry. My family's lives depend on
it. The fact that I am not buying it
only diminishes my concerns in their
minds in the face of the fact that none
of the major media is driving home this
info. I would be glad to be wrong. If I
am not, I will not feel bad at all that
I tried to be one of those who raged
against the silence. I will be glad to be
one of those who said, Wake UP, your health
demands you pay attention...

As far as NWO goes, there are people
who have dug deeper and longer than I
to come up with theories and truths
of some shape and size which do suggest
that where there is oil, there is
greed driving it, and the thirst for
power.

Here is a rant I read today~~

http://www.smokingmirrors.blogspot.com/

It speaks to an agenda which I do not
want to believe, and at this point I do
not have to believe it to understand
that it represents deeper issues and
motivations. I have my ear to the rail
on this one...I try to share only what
I can get my teeth into and chew but
admittedly, it may not taste as good
to those who are wanting and expecting
only good news.

Hope rings eternal~~but listen for
the alarm folks. Ultimately, it may
not be BP who sounds it either...
