As for BP knowing exactly what they are doing, that is exactly what they would like everybody to believe. BP and the other companies involved did know that they were cutting corners, (research how many concrete core stabilizers are meant to be used in a well of the depth of this one, and then how many were authorised to be used by the companies involved). There are other examples of this, but this is not my point.

I'm talking about the actual size and content of the oil and gas reserve that they drilled into.
