Re: identifying pinworms

Hey Sanjean,

Sure is nice to have you as a net friend. Perhaps we should just call the RotoRouter Guy - maybe we could get a group rate.

Ok, I stopped after 8 days of Vermox. I am feeling them 2 or 3 times a day - so more after 2 days off the Vermox, sigh.

But this may be due to 3 things:
1) they are still exiting after being starved by the Vermox
2) they are regrouping in full force after the Vermox, so the eggs that I contaminated myself with over the week are hatching and growing, or the worms that did not get killed are developing. On the plus side, there has been no stinging at all for about 5 days. So, the Vermox may have wiped out the adults. Now that is a step in the right direction.
3) both

Yes, I think this is the only parasite I've got.

My friend is an RN, very skilled and experienced (private nurse who cares for patients in their homes with long-term terminal illesses who wish to (and can afford to) die at home). I told her about the problem and the enema thing. She had some interesting insight -- explained that a fleet only covers the rectal area and suggested maybe a full high-colonic may help (she knows how to do these). She is in a different city but I should be seeing her soon and she has offered to help out with this. She thought maybe we would start with warm salt-water. Talk about a friend. She also thought she could teach my husband how to do this. Sigh, there will just be no mystery left in my marriage at all at the end of this. But my husband is a really good guy and I'm sure he would be very supportive about it.

Had another side effect after the Vermox. Was quite thirsty and had dry eyes for a day. Will not use Wormwood anymore - don't think it is working and I don't want to stress my body. Eyes are fine today. Trying salt water enemas now with clove powder in them - nothing toxic there.

My meds should arrive in a week - in time for my next round of Vermox.

Oh, I am also using Monistat 7 for the vaginal thing - that may be due to cross-worm infection or it may be that the stuff I've take knocked the yeast/bacteria balance out of whack. Anyhow, that is working out.

Take good care. We will beat this.
