The antidepressant may have given your amygdala a break in some form, but that is going out on a long limb. Were you having panic attacks?

The amygdala is the part of your brain that controls the fight vs. flight response, triggering your adrenals to begin pumping out the cascade of stress hormones.

The SSRI wouldn't sap your adrenal reserve, I don't think, only stimulants will really do that.

You need to get your adrenal reserves built back up with forms of Vitamin C and the pantethine form of pantothenic acid that Lam recommends. I was Mr. Panic, and I'm restored.
