My brother's place is 10 minutes from
the Gulf Shores beaches. He lives
right on the Bon Secour River. We
took boat rides out to the bay of
Mobile. It was sad to see all the
boats in port which would have been
gone except for the fishing ban.
The locals were already noticing
then, the drop in wildlife, in
particular, the birds.
