The idea that the god of the old testement sanctioned killing, in his name, means that as long as the name of the bible/qoran/torah god is envoked, then killing is not wrong. This is what drives religious terrorism, wars, hatred, vengence and intolerance. Will it end? I don't believe so, unless religion disappears.

What kind of "sanctioned killing,in his name" are you speaking of? Is your conclusion on killing not being wrong as a result unfounded? When is a fetus alive? Is it before or after the umbilical cord is cut? Or do the laws of man decide that?

Even this kind of religion?

The disappearance of religion wouldn't end wars and hatred, people find things to fight and war about without religion being involved already.
