Re: Purpose of posting here

Thanks Hunter, these are questions that I have asked many of my christian friends, and the answers are always very varied. I also do not believe in killing other human beings, and personally do not support wars, death penalties, or killing in the name of any god, belief or ideology.

I do, however, see much support for these various types of killing, with the excuse that the bible god, or the god of the qoran, or torah, is ok with this, and even supports this killing. The idea that the god of the old testement sanctioned killing, in his name, means that as long as the name of the bible/qoran/torah god is envoked, then killing is not wrong. This is what drives religious terrorism, wars, hatred, vengence and intolerance. Will it end? I don't believe so, unless religion disappears.
