Re: Feeling very cold with iodine therapy (long post)
Thank you very much!! Though it may be too soon, I'm very positive and optimistic that I'll get back to a normal sleep schedule. Body temperature is secondary, and I believe that it'll stabilize anyways after I get good sleep. I believe sleep is more important than any vitamin or supplement. Right now I'm sitting at my desk, and though I don't have a thermometer, my hands are rather warm and my feet only feel slightly cold.
I really am perplexed about the reaction my body had to iodine. It's only after I took low doses of
Lugol's for a couple of days when I got high blood pressure that didn't go away until after I water fasted for 4 1/2 days and then ate a lot of fiber. And again just to reiterate I never had high blood pressure in my life. Perhaps the adrenals were working overtime to circulate my blood harder to get the toxins (detox?) out of my system. I remember in January lying in bed and I could feel my body tremor sometimes, so I know the adrenals were involved. The relief after the
Water Fast is what made me put two and two together and suspect detox. My only problem is I never had anyone to turn to or any support until stumbling upon this forum and reading everyone's experiences. Before finding curezone, I relied on Amazon.com reviews and earthclinic reviews for
Lugol's and no-one mentioned side effects, only benefits.
Thanks for the link. I bought the coconut oil immediately after I read that it benefits the thyroid. I'm a believer that I shouldn't change my regimen if it's working, so if I don't see signs of improvement I'll up the dose of coconut oil. I currently eat a tablespoon with breakfast and a tablespoon with dinner. And I'm amazed at how warm my body gets and how low my blood pressure drops. It just feels SOOO good! =) Unfortunately it only lasts a short while but any progress is better than no progress.
