Re: More Vitamin D Studies of Interest.

"The results of this study were amazing. After vitamin D administration, parathyroid hormone, albumin, CRP (a measure of inflammation), brain natriuretic peptide (a measure of heart failure), and left ventricular mass index (a measure of heart function) all improved significantly. The dose of activated vitamin D (Zemplar in this case) was reduced, and some patients were able to stop it all together. Also, the dose of two other drugs used in kidney failure, one to bind phosphorus and the other to raise hemoglobin, was reduced."

ever wonder why you don't get any information on the long term effect, over years? because no one looks at that. if they did, it would show that people taking these doses probably ended up very ill. it is classic allopathic to think that merely taking a supplement can cure disease. here we just switch drugs for a supplement, but the same general approach is used. notice also the focus on inflammation... and how vit d "cures" it... no attempt is made to figure out why the inflammation was present, or, to acknowledge that using steroids would accomplish the same thing, with the same long term result.

by focusing on the treatment protocol that marshall advances, we are missing the point. of course its a terrible protocol, but that is not the point, the point is that you need to check yourself for VDR blockage before you take any vit d supplments. a huge number of people are unknowingly affected by this problem, and the fix is not that complicated. Rife technology is excellent, see rife forum, or chanca piedra extract with SSKI for a few months. that simple. the irony is, that once you have done this, you won't need to take such outrageous and huge doses of a psuedo drug/supplement. the sun will easily give you all you need, even if you live in canada.

Those promoting vit d as a cure for chronic disease are not measuring the correct type of vit d in the body. fully explained here:

Regarding the Vit D Counsel, does anyone here really know what their agenda is, where they get their funding? it seems fairly suspect to me. This link raises some interesting questions on that topic:

Because it is a not for profit doesn't mean that some for profit entities are not backing it financially to promote an agenda. The studies pushing ever higher doses of vit d are based on measuring 25-D or its precursors, rather than 1,25-D. If you tested both, it would become clear that Marshall's description of the underlying process is accurate.

If you are healthy, taking vit d probably won't hurt you. but than again, if you are healthy, you don't need it anyway. My point is, before you run out and take mega doses of vit d, give very hard thought to getting your 1,25-D levels checked, as opposed to your 25D levels. this just might save you from serious health issues down the road. Don't buy into something just because some "foundation", which could be a front for anyone or anything, suggests that you should. Its simple folks, you can't switch out a vitamin for a drug and expect to be healthy. think about it.

I had the testing done myself, it it was all true. only took about 2 months to fix, not a big deal. Don't have to follow the marshall protocol to fix this mess. don't be fooled.
