DE has been used to treat intestinal parasites for many years, in animals and humans. It is a natuarally occuring product, so it cannot be patented, this is why drug companies are not interested in promoting it above their own patented chemical formulas. Its all about money, not the effectiveness of the treatment.

In my own experience with myself, and my animals, DE has worked very well, and I will continue with its use for intestinal parasites.

You are free to do what ever you think is right for your own health, you are the expert on you, and if you don't think DE can help you, don't use it. Your health is your responsibility, and if you feel you want to use pharmacuticals to treat yourself, go ahead.
