Re: To Mooney
Hi Mooney
I think stannarad made some excellent comments. Mercury is not necessarily the cause of everything.
Since I was the one to start this thread 6 months ago, I thought I'd add my update here.
I am cured of my leaky gut! No tests, but I just *know*. I don't get the cramping anymore, and unless I go through a mad period with food, I no longer break out. My body is fine and I am absorbing what I need. My liver is great too and my immune system is strong.
My main protocol has been to take half a teaspoon of l-glutamine with vit c and B vitamins (brewers yeast) twice a day, also take bioacidophilus twice a day after meals. I continued to eat fruit but stopped myself from eating gluten for 3 months. I also stopped all dairy. I ate organic meat/fish/eggs etc. plus lots of vegetables and brown basmati rice. I juiced maybe every 2 days - lots of Carrots, beetroot, parsley, apples, ginger and celery. I tried to incorporate some fresh salads and some raw sprouts. I also did enemas every other day (mainly urine enemas or aloe vera). I took GOL digestive enzymes with every meal, also some lecithin, EV cocnut oil, flax oil etc. I cut out 95% of the junk.
In the last month, I have had products with gluten,
Sugar and some dairy - no ill effects. Didn't even crave to eat more. I don't want to over do it though, so those foods will always be infrequent as I guess they are generally problematic foods for me (and many)
I no longer have brain fog! I feel good in myself, have much more energy and don't have to nap at lunch time for many months now.
Half my mouth is full of amalgam, and I do think that it's a very important consideration if the mercury is the ROOT cause of your ill health. For me, it doesn't seem so. If you are concerned, get a hair mineral analysis test.
There seems to be people who are in just as bad a shape (or worse) after the removal of
Amalgam ... it's a hard decision to make, you have to firstly get a proper diagnosis. Have you considered ask swami? He charged $200 - which is worth it considering he is acurate. He said mercury is a problem but NOT my root cause at all. Some people have 1
Amalgam and it's enough to get them down the slippery slope, some have loads and seem to cope very well.
Irrelevant of what the so called experts have to say about the toxicity of mercury, you need to know how YOU are coping with it. We are all genetically different and have different coping abilities.
I spent so much time worrying about how the mercury was damaging me - that created enormous amounts of stress! Now, I never think about it, I just think .. eh if I loose my mind when I'm 80, I won't care!
Healing the emotions is very important if you've had a a stressful childhood, I can relate to that very well. I've since let go of my family .. I also forgive them too, but I am happier without them.
I hope you find your solution and I bless you on your journey back to health.
