Re: Sodium bicarbonate

I had an idea this morning that may be worth trying, or may be completely pointless. Oil pulling seems to work for many people for many different reasons, i tried it for about a week and it made my teeth whiter and gums stronger, but i ended up moving to a different state and was too busy to continue it. Anyways here is a clip from an article on oil pulling:
"The tongue is thought of as a map of the internal organs - that is, each section of the tongue is connected to the kidneys, lungs, spleen, liver, heart, pancreas, small intestines, stomach, colon, and spine."
So with this in mind, i wonder if we tried making a strong mix of sodium bicarbonate and water or sodium bicarbonate and oil, then swishing it in our mouths for about 15-20 minutes, then spitting it out. If I understand the idea correctly, it should serve the same purpose as oil pulling but also get the sodium into different parts of our systems. Like i said it may be worth a try, or may be BS.
