I think sometimes when surgery isn't an option right away, they can give Antibiotics , for the infection and inflammation that is probably present, pain medication and just generally calm everything down until the patient is better, also an anti nausea drug. I know this is far from natural, but it sounds like an emergency, and in a crisis situation that advanced I wouldn't attempt a liver flush.
