Re: quickie clarifications...Re: How To Use The Eyebright Eyewash
Uny, thanks for the clarification and other feedback.
I was paraphrasing what you had posted re: the Christopher formula / burn effect / etc, and maybe I was too loose with how I characterized your comments... but I think you got the gist of what I really meant. I've never tried the Shulze formula, but I do know that in the recent past, the MH forum has really talked up the macho factor of the burn effect, not just of the eyebright, but of other formulas too. Anyway, I know this: some days, I can put 2 drops in the eye cup and while it might sting a bit, it does not really burn, but other days I can put 2 drops from the same bottle and it does burn..... I dunno. Thursday I did an eye washing and used 2 drops for the right eye. The first dunk only lasts about 5 seconds.... I use the Shulze tip "give the eye a quick dunk to let it know what its in form". Then after a brief rest, I did a full dunk that lasted close to 40 seconds, and I was doing the eye excercises throughout. At the end of the 40 seconds there was enough burn effect that the eyeball went in to muscle spasm.... so to me, that is my main gauge indicating to me that it is probably time to stop :) About 3 years ago I was getting ready to leave the house for an all-day car drive, so I wanted to wash the eyeballs first..... and it was early in the morning....and I was sort of hurrying around....and I accidentally put 2 drops of Oregano Oil in the eye cup, not Eyebright! Talk about burn.....but I survived.
One of these days I intend to visit your storefront..... so many herbs, so little time ;(
Yes, you are welcome for the dirt on Disney.
