Re: Foolishness of Relativism

As is typical with relative moralists. They are also post modernists (socinianism), for this reason I will not use any dictionary published after 1915. At this point in history the post modernist movement was already beginning to change centuries old definitions because they did not support their ideals. They sought to change the definitions of many terms so they would support the concepts they wanted to see fostered in society. Lets look at the definition that was written in the 1913 webster\'s

\"The relation of conformity or nonconformity to the moral standard or rule; quality of an intention, a character, an action, a principle, or a sentiment, when tried by the standard of right.\"

When tried by a standard of right. HMMMmmmmmmmm where is this standard of right defined. Would what Hitler defined as a standard of right be same as Ghandi\'s or Mother Teresa or Obama. Who is anyone to say who\'s is right or wrong without a solid definition.

Noah Webster would say the standard of right would be defined in the bible, as would 99% of the founding fathers of our country. Yet in the 21st century we feel we are so much more enlightened than these great men, and using the bible as a moral foundation is looked upon as insanity by some groups.

This shows this sadness of where we are at this point in history
