Re: Can oxygen based cleansers burn intestinal tissues?
I was told grains are not allowed on candida diet. Would the rice or oat brans be ok then?
I now feel quite positively that a non-acidic stomach/intestine environment might be very nurturing for candida. I think I have lesser stomach acids because I don't feel the hunger pangs (the acids flowing into my stomach) nowadays. I am wondering what should be done to restore the stomach working normally with the acidity returning.
I read the other post you have linked to. And I feel the same that there are acidic as well as alkaline aspects to each part of the body, though one might look dominant. Something akin to there are both feminine and masculine traits in everybody, but one dominates (mostly). I'll give you one example where the body is found wanting alkalinity from somewhere - when the body starts leeching calcium from bones to keep the blood alkaline. This shows that the body knows how to keep the blood slightly alkaline but that doesn't mean this is all right. Because leeching calcium is gonna make the bones weak. So it is like saving the king by giving up a bishop in a game of chess. What would have been desirable would be to keep both safe. Yet in such conditions is where providing foods that leave an alkaline ash as their end product (ayurvedic concept - it differs slightly from the conventional view) help the body. This way, the body uses this alkalinity instead of getting calcium out. Similarly to reverse osteoporosis (this last point though I am not very sure), it is necessary to provide alkalinity to the body, along with the required minerals - calcium, magnesium, lithium and one or two more important things (besides a host of other things that maybe we, as in humans, don't understand perfectly as of now because I'd say we hardly understand 0.5% - 1% of how the human body really works.). I am sounding as if that (the minerals and alkalinity) is a sure shot way to do it, rather it is a few of the things that natural medicine has understood.
I hope you agree with me.
