Re: Can oxygen based cleansers burn intestinal tissues?
What kind of fibers do you suggest?
I read your candida post at the link given in your post. Most of them go well with me. I have doubts regarding one though: the alkalizing part. Surprisingly, amongst the first steps that I did to get rid of my candida, alkalizing was one of it. And I'd say it provided a good relief to me. To be clear, the first thing I did was modify my diet a little, include coconut, olive and cod liver oil in my diet, and then alkalize. I found that all three steps gave perceivable improvement. But that doesn't mean I am going to argue that candida dies in alkaline environment.
No, but maybe the alkalizing steps helped the rest of my body and they coped well/fought well with the candida. My understanding is alkalizing foods don't have their effect just on the intestines, but the entire body (just like all food). Maybe candida also flourished during my alkalizing sprees but I don't really know :) Also, I don't think alkalizing foods reduce the stomach acids in any way (that is, permanently). So the stomach might be alkaline for sometime (during which the alkalizing effect is spread to the rest of the body), but for the next meal, the stomach acids return and the environment changes.
My dad has been through a naturopathic course (just out of interest, he is an engineer) in his younger years where the teachers taught by diagnosing regular patients in front of the students. And in many cases, they started with just alkalizing the body (where extreme acidity was suspected) and the patients came back reporting dramatic improvements and cures (include for very early stage cancers it seems).
I don't know why I took off on alkalizing like that, I don't intend to continuously alkalize (but I do take lemon juice and apple cider vinegar because they seem to help too). I have your other instructions noted down (and wish me luck) because I am going to start off on kefir (and more probiotics when I get them) strengthening my immune system and simultaneously helping my liver and kidney in pushing away my toxins and cleansing the blood. I hope that sounds like a good plan. Here and there, if my body can take it, I am going to include anti-fungals.
I think I've decided against the
Oxypowder by now. Instead am going to go the 7 day salt water flush instead.
