I read your post and was surprised to not find any mention of your urine having a sweet odor. High triglycerides like you mention interfere with insulin's ability to function properly. It's a good thing you have managed a 2/3rds drop in your blood fats. I went through a phase similar to yours and did some research about bringing the levels down. This was about 15 years ago so it was before my being introduced to the Liver Flush concept. At the time, the only thing that I could find on removing blood fats was fiber. I dropped processed white flour such as white bread and cakes from my diet and switched to whole strictly whole grains when I consumed carbs. I try not to use that word as this whole fad carbs thing is taking the balance out of peoples diet. It will be interesting to see the long term effects of this low carb craze. Anyway, I was able to bring my triglycerides down from 512 to 158 in six weeks.
I have no idea why they became high all of the sudden. All I know is the lifestyle change to a more natural diet corrected the fat imbalance in my blood. I look forward to reading about your success in bringing your blood fats into the normal range. Best Wishes and job well done!
