Now the serpent was more crafty than any of the wild animals the LORD God had made. He said to the woman, "Did God really say, 'You must not eat from any tree in the garden'?"
The woman said to the serpent, "We may eat fruit from the trees in the garden, but God did say, 'You must not eat fruit from the tree that is in the middle of the garden, and you must not touch it, or you will die.' "
Well since the serpent was so crafty, he caused the woman to question God's authority and made her wonder if God didn't really say what He did.
The serpent convinced her that her eyes would be opened and she would have the same great knowledge as God if she would just eat that piece of fruit. She was warned that if she ate it, she would surely die but that crafty snake said it was not so.
The woman's eyes were opened alright but not in the way she was expecting. She then was looking for someone to blame for her poor decision.
Who do we blame when it comes to our health/life? Who is responsible when things go wrong?
We have to start with Truth to have real evidence.
