Since you know that the master was died from liver cancer, at least that was what it reported. I may want to disclose some detail. If he died from liver cancer, properly because he did too many mass group healing which depleted his energy too much, and/or from making too much money out of them.
This qigong is what it called information qigong, which means it has help from spritual force, i.e. Buddism related. The most important requirment is to do at least one good deed a day. Judging from the movements, etc are really not understanding it. As matter of facts, nowadays, lots of qigong are in this category.
One can learn it from just following an video if it is available, if you cannot find any instructor near by.
