Re: colon cleanse

Oh yeah...and then there's Holistic Horizon's colon cleanse! (haven't tried it)

Am I right (Ptree? Southern Belle? Others?) in saying that it seems like people with really robust constitutions can handle the Colon Cleanses with more herbs in them more than people who are in a more delicate state of health? I could be TOTALLY wrong (and probably it's one of those things..works for some, not for others...?). But in reading some of the posts here, it seemed that some of those Colon Cleanses with lots of herbs in them were really too much for some. Too intense? Those are just some thoughts I'm throwing out there.

I get the feeling that you, noflush, have a pretty robust constitution, so you can take your pick...and since you've got your bowels moving, the b&p should work for you.

Oh yeah, 'up to 6 months'...I don't think she's suggesting that you DO it for 6 months...just don't take the b&p drinks for longer than that.

In the beginning I got lots of huge ropes out....after my first 2 weeks of b&p-ing I took a month long break..then started up for about 40 days straight. I just stopped. The amount of mucoid plaque I was getting out was very teeeny tiny. So now I am in build up mode. I will probably do the b&p (and maybe try some other ones with herbs) a couple times a year for a few weeks each time....?

You'll know when to stop Noflush!
