Re: I never meant to cause a commotion. But I thought people should know.
and that, for everyone else reading, is how it is done.
My hat is off to you.
No one "protocol" is right, nor is it correct for everyone.
I have witnessed debate and bad experiences in nearly every form here... liver flush, kidney cleanse, bowel cleansing,
Iodine forum, people misusing various things/suggestions and ending up in emergency, you name it...
That is why there are
Debate Forums ... :-)
You also were clear enough to state that you are not certain it was the drink, but then added: "While I certainly know that my innards aren’t quite perfect yet, I haven’t had another severe attack since stopping the drink…for what it’s worth."
I have stated from the beginning that any one protocol or method is NOT best for everyone. You may be a case where the alkalizing drink as promoted in the forum (a variation may be fine - such as switchel) is not in your best interest.
If you prepared and used it as suggested, as illustrated in your post, my guess is that your healing needs lie elsewhere.
A few additional comments to your post...
>>"Although I will say my nose and taste buds served me better than the refractometer I purchased."<<
Absolutely... anyone can use their senses to benefit here. No refractometer needed... however, to those that have never known what good produce is, it can be used effectively as a training tool.
>>" I have learned through many forums on CZ that the human body is amazing and capable of repairing itself given the proper care."<<
Absolutely true...
>>"I did not post this information on ML's site because, like I said, how can I be certain that this is what did this to me."<<
It could have been an issue prior to using the drink and the drink aggravated it... as I have stated, it is NOT for everyone... and many protocols can agrivate conditions... there is a time and place for everything.
>>"And, I did make ONE snide comment regarding ML's forum (not him in particular) and for that I am truly sorry. I got caught up in the banter. But it seemed to me that many of his forum patrons initiated the attacks and name calling. So again, my most heartfelt apology for an unnecessary comment to something that didn't involve me directly."<<
No worries there... and I agree with you that there are a few high strung ML followers that go a over board at times.
Apologies unnecessary, your explanation is clear enough.
RE: HV >>"CZ is a much better place with him in it."<<
I could not agree more... options and apposing views are good as you have discovered.
